Decent faux cameras. My Amazon packages kept getting stolen by porch pirates. My building management refused to do anything. I bought these and set them up in 5 minutes. I recommend not using the batteries to appear more real. There have been less thefts since I installed them.

The reviews with a negative bent seem to miss the obvious: this is a Very Inexpensive MOCK CAMERA; the negative comments are As If they are describing a Wish List for a "High-End" product. FOR THE PRICE, IT IS WHAT IT IS, "a believable fake". I will agree, the red flashing light adds believability - yet it would be better if the timing-chip inside caused it to flash once every 5-8 seconds versus the current once-a-second.

These were a great prank to pull on the guys at work.

Fell off the wall 2 hours after it was put up. The red light looks very fake and stays on all the time. Not realistic.

I am glad I ordered two, as the first one broke as I was installing it. I over tighten the base. It would have been nice to have a template so that the placement of the screws could have aligned as needed. A bit of a learning curve for me on the installation. No instructions included. Now that it is mounted, I won't be taking it down again. The unit must be taken down should you wish to add fresh batteries. It looks convincing - like it's the real deal, I suppose, but I give poor marks due to the hassle involved in mounting.
