This mirror is exactly what I wanted to help reflect and give the illusion of a larger area. The wood is real wood. NOT plastic. The color of the wood is a match to my laminate flooring throughout the area. My walls are white; however, I can picture this mirror on close to any colored wall. Grey walls would create a sharp look. The size of the frame around the mirror is excellent. You get what you see. My theory is that sometimes, plain and simple is richer looking. I will consider hanging 3 together, with possibly a 2 inch gap in-between each in another room. The packaging when I opened it was very, very good. If you are in need of a mirror and want it framed, I urge you to consider this one. The workmanship is excellent. Enjoy.
