It works very good! Just one effortless snip, it came off instantly. There’s people that giving bad review because, they decided to use “Orthodontic” wire cutter to trim off other things that have no relevancy to braces wire. Like this deserved more love and better reviews! Trust me, it works amazing.

I'm an oral surgeon so I use these things to snip wires all the time. Been using for several months, no problems. Work better than the crap I got from the dental supply company for literally 20x the price.

I have worked in a surgery center and these pliers have a great hand feel to them. I was pleasantly suprised with the weight and finish. I am unsure how they would autoclave for surgical use (I did not choose for that purpose they are for sons brace wire in a pinch until we can be seen). I think they would do well. They feel great.

These are horrible! They are too lose to do the job of cutting the wire and they are not sharp at all. Waste of money!

Saved me multiple trips from the Ortho. Cut through thick wire from my braces that was causing lots of pain. Do not cut at an angle unless you have tools to flatten out the edge.

Nice sturdy wire cutter which did the job cutting through braces wire. It did take a lot of strength to actually clip the wire which is the reason for only giving 3 stars. My son is toward the end of having braces which does mean a thicker wire, so maybe it's better designed for thinner wires.

When I got the product it looked used. I washed it and put it in alcohol to clean it. Then I used it to cut wires that are sticking out my braces and like butter it snipped it right away. You don’t even need pressure really. Can’t beat the price and it did the job. Only gave 4 stars bc as I said it looked used or something.
