Perfect for the Active Toddler
We ordered this for our grandson since we want our house to be the place he has the most fun. We also are working hard to promote the idea that exercise and play are the same things. We really like this set as a way to help him develop balance and learn to climb in a safe way. At only 12 inches high it is great for learning to stand and the steps from one to the next are small enough that he'll be able to crawl up. The foam is plenty cushioned but also solid enough for an adult to sit on without completely crushing it.The colors are great too. We were excited to find one with the same blues and greys as many of his other toys.Overall very happy with the "Factory Direct Partners SoftScape 15 inch Round Two-Tone Ottoman Set; Flexible Foam Seating, 3 Tiered Stool Heights 6, 9, 12 inch; for Playroom, Classroom, Library (3-Piece) - Assorted, 13876-AS".

The best ottomans for kids.
My house is a daycare center. Not really, but sometimes it feels like it is. I ordered these to replace the kiddo seats/ottomans in my living room that my children managed to destroy in a matter of weeks after arrival. These are solid foam with no fabric that's easy to rip/tear/destroy. They're good as seats or ottomans, but also double as stepping stools for an impromptu game of the floor is lava. When they're being stood on, they're not very stable. Since there is nothing solid within the stools, they're a little wobbly. My kids have fallen on their faces more than once while jumping from one to the other - not because they're losers, but because the base isn't rigid enough to prevent toppling.Still, they're awesome. The colors match well enough with my living room that I don't feel like I'm in kindergarten classroom. They're strong enough to hold me, as a seat, but soft enough that when my teenager throws one across the room no one gets hurt.Zero complaints.
