They are sturdy and the parts are of great quality especially for the price. They come carefully packed in boxes and have the brand tags on them. They are easy to put together once you have the first chair figured out. There is extra hardware in case one goes missing. I bought 4 to use as chairs for my breakfast table. I highly recommend these chairs. Every detail is what makes these great chairs. The screws have clear covers and the feet have clear floor protectors.
