The REAL Coke taste that I remember.
This stuff is the REAL DEAL. I was a bit skeptical, but I wanted to try and see if there was a difference from the typical Coca-Cola we get in America. It IS different, as in way better. It tastes exactly like Coke tasted before they started using high fructose corn syrup as the sweetener. I bought glass bottle Coke recently with the HFCS, and I did a taste test with the Mexican Coke that I just received. The Mexican Coke is truly better, and tastes just like I remember drinking as a kid before the Coca-Cola company made the switch from using sugar. I want to also clarify for those concerned that the bottles are in fact 12 ounce size, and the packaging was very good and secure. They're a bit expensive for regular purchases, but if you just want the taste of REAL COKE once in a while, this buy is worth it.

It's coke. Uses corn oil syrup.
The original coca cola of my childhood used regular sugar, which is easier on your pancreas and a LOT easier on the environment, and didn't involved genetic meddling. You can only get that really good coke from Mexico now, and it's worth it, but it's expensive. This is the coke of today. It's cheaper than the Mexican import, and does the job of giving you some caffeine and bubbles and quenches thirst. It's much, much safer than diet coke! Fake sugar fools your pancreas into releasing insulin but there's no sugar in your system, so the sudden influx of insulin makes you crave high calorie sweets to offset the insulin. That's actually worse for losing weight than just drinking regular coke. That's why you see so many very overweight people carrying diet soda with them. There's a connection between diet sodas and diabetes and weight gain, and even other pancreatic problems (I'm a biologist). So just get good old coca cola regular and don't overdo, and you're good to go. I also put them out for delivery people to give them a pick me up as they go on their mandated rushed route that doesn't allow them to stop. They usually take one.

Mexican Coca Cola is better than US cola!
OMG! Mexican Coca Cola is soooooo much better than US soda because they are made with real cane sugar and NOT high fructose. They are also less carbonated. The price of $2.00 per bottle is a little high but still well worth the money. The Coca Cola’s are in tall slender glass bottles that were extremely well wrapped and delivered in a box. I’ve ordered twice so far and never a broken bottle. I will never go back to the Coca Cola’s made for the US.

One Bottle tasted like it had iron in it...seriously, like blood.
Won't buy again. One of the bottles tasted like blood. It had so much 'iron' taste I spit it out. Not trying the rest. Two bottles were good. Of course, it's non- returnable. Ugh. Wasted $40 for a special treat.

REAL COKE =‘s REAL SUGAR! :)
How Coke is able to classify their current product as the “Original Flavor,” surely you jest! None of the grocery stores in my city of 110k is carrying the “REAL” Coke from Mexico, they were @ one point. Sure, a little price gouging but packaged very securely, arrived a couple of days early, this is “The Real Thing!”

No high fructose corn syrup
The absence of corn sweetener makes this an excellent choice for people with corn or general grain allergies. The flavor is only slightly less sweet than the USA version. We got accustomed to it very quickly, to the point where this is our favorite flavor.

I need to give it another try
I got this Mexican coke to use in a recipe because it is made with real sugar and I have to carmelize it so that's why I bought it. I did open a bottle to drink and I was kind of disappointed because it tasted flat. I put a couple of bottles in the fridge and will try them later. Maybe the bottle that I drink wasn't cold enough so I will try again. Now my only problem is where oh where did I put that recipe...
