Norse Myths: Tales of Odin, Thor and Loki

Love this book. I have to admit I bought it mainly for the artwork which he absolutely stunning. I wanted a book about Norse mythology that wasn’t “academic” and was more easy entertaining stores.

This has all of the Norse tales with excellent graphics.

This book gives an overview of the essential stories in Norse mythology. Each one is written as a simple narrative, so that it feels like a collection of nighttime stories, rather than an academic text. The art compliments the stories well. Love’s images feel primitive and ethereal. Many of the paintings move across the fold and contain the text, so that art and text are seamlessly interwoven.

this is a beautiful book and can be for an adult or child. great way to learn some of the great classic norse stories. the art is really different and cool, and the stories are written simple but well. definitely highly recommend it.

The art is a five, but I ding it on the writing. The author does a good job, but the Norse myths are weird and pretty stupid - not his fault. Still, it was interesting to see what they're all about.

An absolutely gorgeously illustrated and well written book. I wish they made more like this for other myths... but maybe that would ruin its specialness. Maybe they already did. I should check the publisher/seller page.

OMG!!!!! He will not put it down. Weirdly I do the same thing. But he's writing a trilogy with every single mythological creature. All of them. So naturally mom does the search😱😒
