Why did you pick this product vs others?:Wife loves it. Easy to build, and move around.

It seems like the ones falling apart weren’t put together properly… I was wary of buying this seeing photos of the back shelves not fitting, squeezing in, causing screws to strip. Those were put together improperly.I LOVE my new mirror. As I was putting it together, I almost made the mistake several others didn’t seem to know they made: I placed the back portion on the inside of the strip at the bottom, instead of the outside, which causes the back shelves not to fit, it causes the back prop to bow out, and if you continue trying to screw in, it will pull pieces of it apart.Another review I saw said the lights don’t work. I thought mine didn’t at first too, but they take THREE AA batteries… the thing is glued down so it’s difficult to see it doesn’t just take two. I sort of assume that’s why their lights didn’t work.Anyway, I’m SO happy with this piece of furniture! I highly recommend it. I looked and looked and looked at these things and their reviews, and I’m really glad this is the one I settled on. The door doesn’t stay open on its own very well, but I’m gonna make a little wedge to put in the door so I can keep it open without holding it if I want to… I’m just paranoid it’s gonna slam shut on one of my nice necklaces, or slam and break the mirror.

Some of the directions are incorrect. Specifically when installing the 2 back shelves. Step 3 shows using Screw C(Short style) which does not fit with the outside frame of the mirror. You need B(Long style) In order to fit through both thicker pieces of wood. The C(short style) works on the inside (felt material) inside portion of the mirror. It was very frustrating until I figured it out.It's a nice piece overall. My only other complaint is the earring storage area. Stud type earrings are difficult to store in the tiny space. Dangles and hoops are a bit easier.

Thought it was cool for present for wife. Turns out she REALLY liked it so 5 stars. Felt a little cheap when putting it together but it’s been in use for a year now and it’s held up 100% so no complaints.

Purchase this for my daughter 17 years old and always checking her fashion and jewelry. Now I want one works perfectly in a bedroom decoratively and fills too purposes.

My dad had me order this for my mom for Christmas and it is amazing! It has plenty of storage for all of her jewelry, a light inside, and can be locked. Good price with all the features. Will say it is like building something from ikea.

I took a star off simply because the button inside the mirror that ~should~ shut the LED lights off when the door closes does not work on my mirror. Also, little tidbit but not a deal breaker, opening the mirror requires two hands because the strong magnet that keeps it closed & since the mirror is the heaviest part, it spins when you open the door so you have to hold it still.Besides those things, I love this purchase. My boyfriend assembled this so I can’t speak for the assembly, but it took maybe 30 minutes? Such a cute mirror. Great addition to my room and so helpful for organization!
