The English Translation of The Holy Qur'an

If you are curious and need an easy to understand English version then this book may be for you. I am a christian and have not read the complete text of the Qur'an. It is easy for me to look up subjects that interest me and read what the Qur'an says about it. Good for those who want to go to the source for explanations of Muslim beliefs. I will be looking up specific sects next. Be warned that it is violent in some areas compared to the New Testament.

This is a very good English translation and a must read for all western citizens! Only by reading can one understand the lies being told today by Muslims about their religion and their position on violence. US citizens need to understand that Islam is about take over, subduing, and dominance, by any means. Read! In the first and fourth sura's you can read for your self how the Quran commands violence if outsiders do not convert or agree to follow Islam. Read it for yourself.

It's an excellent translation of Holy Quran from Arabic to English. Yusuf Ali appears to have full command over Arabic as well as English. Though all the translators in the world agree that Quran's Arabic is so unique that translation to any language is impossible. Linguistics are amazed when it's read to them! That's one of the biggest reason of conversion to Islam!

Very confusing hard to follow

I bought this to if Christians really are considered infidels by the Quran instead of listening to 2nd hand info. We are.

This is extremely boring and confusing. The translations are as difficult to understand as the original text. You've got to love this religion in order to get through the text. I quit less than a quarter of the way through it.

Great book needs explanations though

Biblical English is what I like most. Highly recommend to try this book and also saheeh international translation a good collection for all readers.

Really, please don't wast your time reading the religion of utter contempt for every other life form on the planet.
