The lock and mechanism continue to function correctly, and I have had no issues with TSA taking it off when they need to do a more thorough look through my checked bags. I have also had no issues with unlocking or opening my luggage belt in all this time. This belt has held up under immense pressure from my overly packed luggage and remains secure. It is nice to feel that even if a zipper breaks on my bag that it will remain shut. The color was as described, and it is long enough to wrap around an full-sized, expanded, checked bag.

**Q: Is there a minimum length?  I need it for my carry-on (over the seat), and want to make sure it can be adjusted down small enough.**
A: As an owner of two of these straps, I can tell you the shortest it will adjust to is 42 inches. Hoping this helps!

**Q: Can u make the strap larger when locked?**
A: Yes you can. Rather difficult to make it smaller/really tight when around suitcase, though. Making it larger is easy. I travel lot & this strap has never failed & I know have had luggage spot-checked by TSA with this combo locked around suitcase.

A: No
