Thermoweb Foil Deco 6-inch x 12-inch, Gold

I purchased this to use with my Heidi swapp Minc machine. I usually use the Heidi Minc foils but I find them to quite expensive and I've heard these are actually better at adhering to the card, so I bought this one and another in gold to try out. This arrived smaller than expected. If you have ever used the Heidi swapp Minc foils then this tube is half the size of that. I expected this to be a roll of foil but it's actually 5 sheets of foil instead. The size of each piece of foil is quite small but actually ideal if you only need a little amount for a small project. For what I need it worked out well although I will get through a lot as there's only 5 on a roll. The quality of the foil was brilliant and adhered perfectly. I can't fairly compare it to the Heidi swapp foils because I changed the paper with these to laserjet paper and the quality was perfect. I'm not sure if I would always use these simply because of the size, I feel I would need Minc foils for larger projects and use these for the smaller designs

I purchased this Deco Foil after watching numerous YouTube videos relating to foiling and noticing that this seemed to be the product of choice in many of the videos. I live in the UK and this product isn't available here so had to be shipped from the USA, but I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it arrived, and it was very well packaged. I have used the foil with a laser printer and a laminator and have had fantastic results, it is so easy to use. I have also used the Stick it glue sheets and my Sizzix Big Shot to create gold foiled prints and this method has worked really well as well. I would say if you plan to do a lot of foiling you may be better off purchasing the bigger pack as each sheet is quite small so you can't do much with one pack, but if you are just trying it out to see how you get on with the product then this pack is fine. I love this product and will be purchasing it again but in the bigger pack next time.

Bought the Minc foil first and that was a disaster, as per my 3rd picture. But luckily I bought this foil to try as someone said they had better results. So it came the same day as I was trying the Minc foil, so after the disaster of that 1, this one was so much better. Thicker and more sturdy. Actually foiled my stickers than foiling the whole sticker sheet. Took some scrubbing to get the excess foil off to make my stickers more presentable but I guess that's a laminator issue cause I can't control the temperature on that. I should have bought more cause the 5 sheets wasn't enough for me. But you live and learn, I suppose.

Honestly I nearly had a heart attack its cost £1.29 per sheet. PER SHEET. Granted it was my own fault not reading the size of it due to the excitement of needing it to finish a project. But for money value, rip off. I haven't used it yet but will be very shortly so will be able to edit to review with the details of using it.

Love this star foil. I have bought it a few times now and always get amazing results. Heat setting 3 minc is ideal. Prices fluctuates I’ve paid £6-8 so keep an eye on the price. Love all deco foils

The gold foil does adhere to card if you put it through a laminator but it did leave black spots where it didn't stick. Put it through the laminator 3 times and waited for it to cool. It's nice for small projects, but wouldn't buy again. Not the best value for money since there isn't a lot and it's quite expensive.

I had 25 customised cards to send out. I got a quote of £300 from a print company to print them with foiling effect on text. Well, I ended up printing those cards without foiling and with this foil and a simple office laminator (also few quid) I was able to produce beautiful posh looking cards for about £40 total. And I had fun doing it :)

Bought Gold & Silver Foil's. Got to be honest, the Gold stuck OK, but the Silver was a teeny bit patchy on the very edge of some text. Used General purpose Home Laminator & Paper sheet method & of course a Laser Printer. As I had a few copies, I was able to choose the perfect ones.

Excelente producto. Fácil de usar con laminadora básica. Su grosor es bueno para lograr resultados satisfactorios. Recomiendo a todos los usuarios.

Die Deco Foil Transfer Sheet lassen sich gut bearbeiten. Es macht Spass einen glänzenden Eindruck zu hinterlassen, sei es auf Stoff oder Papier.

Contento con la compra, aunque dependiendo del modo de aplicación funciona mejor o peor. Con la Minc muy bien, con el Pen Quill no. En general buena compra.
