a nicely made chime bar with a handy hammer. This particular chime bar has a short chime time, that is not to say that all these chimes are short chime, it is very much the luck of the draw. It would be nice to know how long the chime bar chimes for before purchase so that you can buy the appropriate bar.

Beautiful sound from this lovely well made chime. I would agree with another review about the chime being off-set from the wood mounting block but i don't think this affects the working of the item. 10/10

This beautiful product surpassed all of my expectations! It arrived very quickly, was beautifully packaged in a nice gift box with a small pamphlet inside. The company who makes these products does a superior job with their craftsmanship. The chime sounds beautiful, and will last for years to come. I can see that it will be a very relaxing part of our lives. My son, who I gave it to as a gift, loves it. He finds it very relaxing. The tone really does go on for a long while, it sounds like there is a real art to making these right. This company got it spot on! This "hand chime" is about 7 inches long, or 17.8cm. The majority of the weight is in the metal bar, which gives a clear, resonant sound with a powerful harmonic quality. It comes with an attached wooden holder and a striker. It's a lovely piece, very solid, and can be hand held by most people or used on a table top. It comes assembled and can be used right out of the box.
