Samsung C24F390 24-Inch,2K DCI 1080p Curved LED Monitor - HDMI, VGA , Black

Its been a while since I have purchased a new monitor, however my hand was forced when I found my new PC does not have the old fashioned monitor output. So old 17 inch Iyama off to the charity shop. new Samsung in its place! I am not completely in the dark ages when it comes to monitors, I use 2, 22 inch flat monitors at work every day, and have to admit these are fine. However, this curves screen is fantastic! its clear, the colours are vivid and sharp (as delivered the brightness is set to max, you might want to turn that down a bit!). The USP, the curved screen is something else, the sales blurb talks about maintaining a constant distance to your eyes as you turn your head, although in the real world we tend to wiggle around and our heads don't stay in a fixed position relative to the screen, I think it does actually work. Certainly where at work with 2 screens I would have one reference document on one and my working document on another, with this monitor I can have both side by side and work just as comfortably on 1 monitor. Regarding games, I am certainly not qualified to venture an opinion on first person shoot em ups, I have been told that CoD isn't just a fish! I do use Asseto Corsa to learn race tracks and I an say for this its great, and I have no problems. Perhaps the more complex graphics of games like CoD combined with the rapid panning players tend to do whilst looking around cause the problems one of the reviewers mentioned, A great monitor at an unbelievable low price, All monitors should be curved!

SAMSUNG's reputation on quality precedes them, but for the spec of this monitor pre-release...I was feeling a bit wary. The price for the spec seemed off, a curved screen with fast refresh AND a SAMSUNG panel inside? Thankfully my concerns were laid to rest. I work from home, I used my old BENQ as my video editing screen, playing games, browsing the web and watching TV / Movies when my Firestick was plugged in...so I am definitely what you call an all rounder when it come to monitor use... I've had it a few weeks now and can safely say that it ticks all my boxes I needed for an all-purpose monitor. Connector wise, there's a HDMI port, VGA, audio (stereo) port for headphones or speakers and of course the low-power connection too. The curved element of the screen, gimicky as it seems without experiencing it is very cool, especially when gaming (it does indeed increase the level of immersion into the game you're playing...clever brain trickery indeed) The colours are vibrant, the clarity is exceptional and the brightness...especially when Samsung Magic is enabled...mind blowing. The controls and settings are all accessed from the rear joystick at the back of the panel, easy to use and access all the stuff you need to. For games and fast movement (such as the recent Euro 2016 games I've been watching) there is no tearing or similar visual issues you have with the lesser monitors out there. This truly is a wonderful monitor on every level and would and will happily recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality display for their setup.

I purchased two of these monitors for use with my Surface Pro 4 and the Surface dock. Before I made my purchase I read all of the comments and reviews. I've got to admit, the overall quality of these monitors is superb. I am not a gamer as I only use these monitors when I work from home. I don't find any issues with the screen resolution. Neither do I find any issues when the screens wake up. As for the LEDs on the bottom of the screens, these can be toggled on or off using the toggle stick on the back of the monitor. The toggle stick on the back of the monitor is indeed very easy to use. Although the monitor height can't be adjusted they can be tilted. There are plenty of other products on the market that will enhance your viewing height so that's certainly not a negative point. The screen is crisp and clear and I would highly recommend these monitors for use in any working environment. As a non-gamer, I am unable to provide any reviews regarding frame rates.

It's quite surprising that you can buy a monitor this good for this price, particularly with a curved screen and from a respected brand. The picture quality is certainly very good and it's helpful that it also features a headphone socket for the HDMI input (although no internal speakers). I've bought two of these monitors (for a three-monitor setup based on a 5K iMac) and my only complaint is that occasionally one won't wake up after the computer has gone to sleep. I don't know whether this is down to my USB-C to HDMI cables or the monitor itself, but sometimes it can be jump-started by holding left on the little control joystick at the back (interesting control mechanism, by the way) and sometimes it requires a complete pull of the power cable. Aside from that, it's worth noting (if you're wall or bracket-mounting these monitors) that the stand attachment on the back does come off, but to do this you need to pry off the entire backplate (ideally using something plastic, but failing that a flat-headed screwdriver will do) in order to get to the relevant screws. Afterwards you're left with a bit of a hole, and this probably could have been thought through better, but I would imagine most people will use these on the provided stands.

Moving from a 40 inch 4k screen to a 1080p 24 inch screen, I didn't think there would be much difference, due to the smaller size and all. I was very wrong. The image was nowhere near as sharp, so initially I thought this monitor was awful. However the thing that helped me the most was turning the sharpness down to 50. After that, it looked quite nice. Not 4k, but it still looked good. Aside from the resolution, the menus are really simple and easy to navigate, the stand is easy to set up, and the screen itself looks really nice. The curve is small but it really looks great. Mine came with a HDMI cable, a DVD for something, and some Russian documents, and a Russian charger adapter in addition to the UK one. No idea what that was about, but it's not really important. Good monitor overall.

Love this item, massive upgrade for me for gaming and looks brilliant to really can't grumble for under £100. Bit awkward to set up initially plugged everything in then turned on the computer and nothing happened but a blank screen flipping between hdmi and analog, hmm bit wierd fiddled with controls still nothing. So did the easiest thing switched off the computer and turned it back on and boom on it came with no issues since. Would recommend if your getting into gaming and want a good quality monitor to start.

I've had this over a year now in my home office, a converted bedroom. I think it's a great monitor with easy to use features for my needs. I did use the VGA connection but now use HDMI. I've recently bought an Amazon value wall mount to use with it. Minor problem, as you can see from the picture the stand leg is still attached. I don't really mind this but can't work out how to remove it. Anyone any ideas? PS: looks a big lopsided, that's because my phone was not fully upright.

I have tried for ages to find a monitor that does not reflect my image, as I use my computer in my conservatory. Eventually I found the Samsung C24F390 and have just set it up. It is absolutely marvellous, no reflection at all and easy to assemble (I am a great grandmother of 78)! I highly recommend this product which is obviously very popular as either a monitor or tv , as I really wanted a 22" screen but none were available in this country. I would also say that I have seen reviews where people said the screen pointed downwards. There is a tilt mechanism on the stand so it is easy to adjust the screen to one's preference.

Una pantalla fantastica para el dia a dia: navegacion, ofimatica incluso algun que otro juego. La calidad es muy buena y es muy inmersiva gracias a su curvatura. la instalacion, por si alguien no lo sabe, es muy sencilla y como todos monitores: te incluye en la caja un cable HDMI no muy largo para conectarlo a la pantalla por un lado y al ordenador/ consola por el otro, y conectando ademas el cable de alimnetacion, eso seria todo para hacerlo funcionar. Tambien tiene ranura para conectar un cable D-SUB o DP, util si usais ese tipo de cables. comentar tambine que lo he visto en algun comentario negativo el tema del enchufe plano. Es cierto que viene con dicho enchufe pero en la bolsa donde esta la garantia y el cable HDMI viene un pequeño adaptador europeo, por lo que no hay problema con ello. Tambien al contrariode lo que dicen en algunos comentarios, sí se puede ajustar la inclinacion. Por lo general es muy buena pantalla acorde con el precio, buena calidad y fiabilidad de un fabricante como Samsung.

Je regrette qu'il manque un peu de luminosité, dans l'ensemble c'est correct mais quand j'ai les yeux fatigué en fin de journée, j'aurais aimé qu'il le soit un peu plus. Ceci dit, ça reste un très bon écran avec un bon rapport qualité/prix pour le travail de bureau. Il est facile de montage et d'utilisation, un écran "classique" avec son entrée analogique et HDMI.

Es un monitor, no una tv, pero con la play4 funciona de maravilla y cuando mi hijo usa la consola para ver la tele, también se ve muy bien. Fue un regalo de reyes y el que sea curvada, le da un extra para el niño. Yo la uso a veces y la verdad es que como monitor para juegos, estoy muy contento. Rápido, buena calidad y es cierto que la curvatura ayuda ala concentración.
