Feels expensive/good compared to others I have and works great for extending ethernet cables. Size is a little on the big side but wasn't an issue for me since it's out of view. Overall works great and had no issues with it.

5 stars because when I was building my set up I was trying to connect a cable and was like oh bugger this won't reach! Now what am I going to do this is ruined! Then I was like BAM! It hit me I ordered this cable thing and it saved my life. Life crisis over. I nearly have it 4 stars because it doesn't have Bluetooth but on the other hand it saved my life. So ya know. Worth it. Recommend if your life needs saving or if Tuesdays are a nightmare for you and need something to help your connection to the world. Not suitable for connection with Bluetooth - this doesn't have it which was the only issues I had with it. Buy this if you want to. You're worth it.

Excellent product, a bit bulky but solid.

I thought I had a problem with a home-terminated cat 6 cable but it turned out to be a cheap beige tombstone - one of several I had in use. Some pins lost contact if the plug wasn't pushed fully home, eg. if it was was pulled back against the locking tab, the amount of travel to which seemed excessive. Bought this pack of 5 to replace all of them and these are great. They look and feel better quality and keep full contact even if the plug is pulled against the lock tab.

I have used these to extend Cat 5 with Power over Ethernet on a 100 M bit network. The switch does not report any port errors on the 100m plus extended runs. Bottom line is that, in at least my circumstances, if you have to move a bit of kit and your run isn't long enough you can save a ton of effort and cost in pulling new cable. I will always be keeping a few of these by me from now on. Well made little enclosures. Moulding fits together well. Sockets are not loose. Not any bigger than they need to be. Nice job.

Great for extending RJ45 cables. Simple and effective.

I have a mass of 3 and 4 metre cables but needs some longer lengths to rearrange some devices and furniture. These enabled me to use my many space shorter cables to create extended runs without the expense of buying longer cables. Two have bene running for over a month with no issue or speed loss due to poor connections. Very happy and will deploy the rest soon.

I had to use two of these to extend a Cat 5 cable from running from a garage down to a basement cabinet as the original cable was too short at both ends. The cable is carrying a fibre broadband service and with the two extenders in place, the signal quality is unaffected between the connected devices. I can't ask for more than that and would therefore highly recommend them.
