I usually listen to music using a Meridian 101 preamp and M3 active speakers but due to recent redecoration and the fact that at the moment I am unable to run all the cables necessary between the preamp and speakers I needed an alternative that would be wireless and still provide decent sound quality. After much research I settled on the JAM Heavy Metal bluetooth speaker and Golvery Bluetooth Transmitter and Receiver and I have not been disappointed. The JAM speaker is powerful for its size and the bass is tight and clear, much more so that I ever expected from such a small unit. Not sure how they have managed it but I have to say it is a great little speaker. Batter life is good, exactly as claimed and it was so easy to set up in bluetooth. I have the speaker sitting 30 feet away from the transmitter and have no problems with signal drop up. The Golvery transmitter is small and compact but is a very capable little unit (see photo,you would hardly know it was there!). Overall it was pretty simple to set up though the instructions for pairing with two devices were not as clear as they could be. That said, after a couple of goes I have paired the transmitter with my headphone too. Range has proved to be better than I expected and I can listen using the headphones at around 50 feet from the transmitter and that is through 2 walls, a staircase and some furniture which is beyond what I expected. Can't comment on battery life for the transmitter as I only use it powered off a USB source. All in all, a pair of great pieces of quality kit and at such great prices. I'm looking to purchase another bluetooth unit to work as a receiver so will be buying another Golvery unit without any hesitation.

These units are very good. Sound quality is good and they work over the 8 m line of sight distance that i use them in. They pair over that distance as well. So why the 4 stars and not 5???? Because if your using them on battery and connect them to the charger, they drop the connection and you have to re pair them. STUPID!!!

I Have struggled for years with hearing problems despite a hearing aid and a Bose sound bar I could not hear words clearly and my wife sat in a different room to get away from the loud volume. During the festive season I was using Bluetooth headphones a lot for music from my IPad and thought I wish the TV could be the same! That is when I looked into using my Bluetooth headphones with the TV and discovered this brilliant device. I could have bought cheaper versions but decided to pay a bit extra after reading the reviews. Initially I was quite disappointed as the unit is tiny and I was a bit sceptical, anyway I charged the Golvery until the light went out and then tried to pair it with my headphones, took a little time but solid blue light came on and I plugged it into my TV headphone socket and Wow I was blown away! This is only my second day of use and there are issues such as having to remove it to charge as I do not want the batteries to go flat, I do not have a USB port handy so I have to remove it for charging. I will fit a Velcro pad so I can stick it behind the TV and remove it easily. The sound quality is excellent and no delay in speech on films etc, so I can now listen to a film and understand the voices after all these years. My wife gets absolute peace although she still prefers to watch different programmes! The issues are getting used to sound coming from the Tv through the headphones but after a few hours it was fine, quality of headphones and comfort if you are sitting for five hours etc could be an issue and will probably upgrade mine to a long battery life with noise cancelling. So far I am delighted and amazed and also annoyed that I did not do this years ago, I am also a Tinnutis sufferer and these help overcome that issue. Great little device and I keep my fingers crossed for many years pleasant listening.

I bought one of these back in 2018 to use Bluetooth headphones with TV. Works very well, no lag. Also been used as a receiver occasionally with old stereo. Bought this second one recently for my parents who want to use a Bluetooth speaker with their small tv. They are elderly and the same one seemed a good idea in case of the ‘how does it work’ phone calls. So far, no such phone calls. They find it very easy to use and same good quality as my one. Very pleased with both!

I'm amazed at the amount of functionality that has been squeezed into such a small package. The ergonomics are very good and overall, I can highly recommend this item. Audio quality is very good and latency is very low (aptx coding is used, I believe) I expect to buy another one before very long for a family member as a birthday gift. *Update 18/10/22 - having now bought a total of five over the last year or so, I've been disappointed by the unreliable battery life on two out of four (just had to pay a significantly-increased price for yet another replacement ... sorry, Golvery but no more after this!) *update* 15/3/20 - just ordered it :-)

I decided to get one of these for work as I spend a lot of time reviewing audio as part of my role. With my telephone headset, my headphones, my keyboard, mouse, phone charger, fan....you get the idea, I was finding there were just too many wires all over the place. Aside from the charger, I was able to get a wireless version of everything else but it was bugging me that I still had to plug my headphones in. The work use little boxes that don’t have Bluetooth, so I had to have that on my desk to be able to plug in my headphones. Well, I was looking for a solution and stumbled on this little gem. It’s so simple to use, well once you’ve read the instructions. I’ve synced my headphones and now I leave it permanently connected to the box out the way and my headphones just connect automatically when I turn them on. It’s great not to be restricted by wires and I can now recline in my chair when I’ve got a lot to listen to. I did for the sake of the review, connect it to a speaker to test the receiver - I used an old Bose Bluetooth one with an aux input and there was a slight difference in sound quality when connecting to this than if I connected directly to the speaker, but it’s negligible, especially when you consider how cheap this is! Definitely worth the money.

Great little gizmo, no more will I stand up and walk away from the laptop and either pull it across the table or rip the buds out of my ears. Fair range, starts breaking up upstairs or across the house but recovers well, fairly seamless switching in win 10, battery lasts ok, long enough that I can fall asleep listening to an audio book and it is still playing in the morning. Very slight hiss on all audio but barely noticeable.

Bought one of these about 10 months ago so I could play Spotify from Google Hub on powered speakers (KRK Rokit 6) in the kitchen. Easy to set up and worked really well streaming high quality audio (aptX) from about 15 feet away. However, a few weeks ago the music would only play sporadically and eventually failed altogether. Checked all the components in the set up and reckon a connection had come loose somewhere in the unit. I contacted the seller and they replaced the unit without any quibble or discussion (actually, they suggested the quickest option was to buy another one and they would refund it, which meant I wouldn't have to wait for a replacement to ship from China). System now fully functional again. Bottom line is I would recommend the unit purely based on its performance. However, the excellent customer service means you can buy with complete confidence

Excelente producto! Funciona a la perfección desde el primer día. La batería dura muchísimo, aun no lo he cargado desde que lo compré. Los dos sistemas, tanto de receptor, como emisor, a la perfección, y se conecta con cualquier dispositivo. Funciona con 2 auriculares inalámbricos. No he encontrado ninguna cosa negativa del producto, es todo lo que pedía.

Acquistato per poter trasmettere l'audio dal mio nuovo proiettore al sinto amplificatore Yamaha e godermi l'audio dall'home theatre senza fili in mezzo ai piedi. Devo dire che l'utilizzo è veramente facile, sono riuscito ad accoppiarlo con il sinto amplificatore in pochissimo tempo e la trasmissione risulta stabile e con una latenza veramente impercettibile. Non l'ho provato come ricevitore perchè tanto non è l'uso che ne farei, ma a questo punto penso sia ottimo anche da quel punto di vista. Consigliatissimo, anche perchè ha un prezzo veramente ottimo.

Mon téléviseur LG n'émet en Bluetooth que pour des écouteurs intraoculaires de marque LG. Souhaitant profiter dur mes propres ecouteurs, ce petit boîtier m'était indispensable. Installé en moins de deux minutes et paré en aussi une minute, il offre un excellent son en Bluetooth. Mes écouteurs sont reconnus instantanément des la mise en route de mon téléviseur. Si comme moi vous l'alimentez en courant par votre téléviseur. Il faut à chaque fois appuyer sur le bouton principal, car il se met en veille. Ça ne me pose aucun probleme, mais la Première fois que ça m'est arrivé, j'ai dû le changer de place afin qu'il soit plus accessible. Sinon, c'est un excellent produit avec une très bonne portée...

Prodotto interessante, esteticamente molto piccolo. Le istruzioni sono in inglese e l'accoppiamento riesce srnza troppi problemi. La qualità dell trasmissione è buona sebbene durante l'uso con tv e 2 airpods abbia avuto quslche disconnessione. Le 4 stelle so o dovute al fatto che non sono riuscito ad accoppiare le mi Plantronic Focus,ma soprattutto il gatto che il dispositivo non funzioni mentre è alimentato, ma solo a battetia. Semplice, na fa il suo lavoro.
