This is an excellent shave cream, smells nice and leaves face moisturised. Razor glides over cream so easily. Bought this as I liked the brand's after shave.

Well, I'm a wet shave convert, I use the Proraso range and love it, I got this for trips and travel, it's nicely fragranced and works up a nice lather. This is a pleasant shave too but I think I'll go back to the soap in a bowl and just squish my relatively small bowl in the next time - my issue is that this has oatmeal bits in it, which, feels a bit weird on your skin and they get stuck between the blade and handle of my safety razor. You can wash them out but it's all a bit claggy. A cut throat razor would be a more suitable blade for use with this. It still gets 4 stars because I like it so.

I had not bought before, but my usual Williams cream had changed to using plastic tubes; these have metal tubes so no plastic( other than the cap ). The cream lathers and shaves well, and this one doesn’t have any fake smells; also better for travel than bulky aerosols. Would buy again. Even Palmolive shave cream has started using plastic tubes .. wtf

Used Proraso green for many years but kind of outgrew it as I got into other creams and soaps as part of DE shaving journey. Last year, I bought a tub of this red soap when greatly reduced and thought it a bit meh to be honest, not very impressed. Over the past months, when in a rush, I've started shaving again with disposable Gillette/Wilkinson sword razors and typically use them with some shaving cream, so when I saw this for £3 thought I'd give it a go. I have to say I'm seriously impressed, have been using a small dollop of this massaged into skin with my hand and then lathering with a brush and it has been excellent, great lather and cushioning, really smooth and slick, with lovely sandalwood smell. Tube will likely last a few months at least and at £3 represents great value, a real no brainer to have in shaving locker. Will have to try with DE razor, but will be re buying in any event. Highly recommend.

Sandalwood fragrance is pleasant without being overpowering. Does not lather or foam much but does work well to soften the beard, help the razor glide and minimize irritation. A tube lasts quite a while as you only need a small amount per shave.

Avendo usato la schiuma da barba della stessa linea "Rossa" della Proraso, ho voluto provare questa crema da barba. Ovviamente per l'uso necessita di essere montata in ciotola, o direttamente in viso, mediante pennello. Basta una piccola porzione, pennello bagnato, al bisogno qualche goccia d'acqua e si monta facilmente. Il risultato è da effetto "panna". L'odore è abbastanza neutro ed effettivamente ammorbidisce la barba dura agevolando la successiva rasatura. Eccellente il rapporto qualità/prezzo, non ha nulla da invidiare a prodotti ben più costosi. Assolutamente da provare per verificare se è il prodotto adatto per il vostro tipo di barba

Perso, j'adore la fragrance (c'est subjectif.), fait une belle mousse au bol, ne pas hésiter a rajouter de l'eau et si vous voyez des bulles dans votre mousse, c'est que vous avez mis trop d'eau ! :-)
