The wheel, pedals, and shifter make racing games SOOO much better.
Originally, I purchased the G920 wheel for use on Windows 10 without the gear shifter. As I used it for F1 2017, this was perfectly fine as gears are switched using the LB and RB padals behind the wheel in the game, just like in an F1 car. It was also fine for Euro Truck Simulator 2 as the trucks have 12 to 18 gears on them. The wheel and pedals work brilliantly with both games, and all in game menus can be traversed with the wheel as it also doubles as a controller. You can never go back to playing with a controller once you've used a good wheel in racing games. It totally transforms the experience for the better. On playing Forza Motorsport 7 and Project Cars II, I realised that the gear shifter would add another dimension again. And again, once you've used a gear stick in racing games, it's hard to go back to not using one! It totally transforms the experience for the better. Can't wait for Forza Horizon 4 now! I feel like a kid playing Daytona USA in the arcades in the 90's again!! Priceless. So it's a good buy, no question. However there are some caveats that you should be aware of. You need to attach the wheel to a table, desk or something. It's very easy to do as the wheel has built in clamps on the underside to fix to such a thing. But you need such a thing, or else you wont be able to use it. The pedals have no grip on the bottom of the unit. They will slide when you press them on a wooden floor or thin carpet making them unusable unless you sort out some kind of fix to stop them sliding. The clutch and accelerator pedals are easy to press. The brake requires more force and a bit of getting used to. Don't get me wrong, it works well, attempting to emulate pressure required to slow a moving car, but you need to get used to it at first. After quickly realising the pedals slid without a fix, and fixing it, I nearly toppled the chair back I pressed so hard braking late on F1 2017! It's not a fault. You just need to work out how hard you should be pressing it for effective game play. It actually works very well once you get going. Teenager and above would be fine, but smaller kids may struggle pressing the brake pedal effectively. My kids are 8 and 10 and they struggle. But that's partly because they can't drive and always go flat out on the accelerator and brake way way too late! Personally, I would say the brake works well, and the resistance in pressing is an excellent feature. My kids would disagree. Fortunately, you can change what the pedals do easily, so I have made the clutch the brake for them instead. They prefer automatic anyway. The shifter has 6 gears, and a reverse gear. To access reverse, not obvious on first use, you need to depress the stick in neutral when the car is stationary before moving right and then down. The shifter adds a brilliant new dimension to the game play and control of the cars with the pedals. I see the dilemma for making a cost effective H shifter for gaming as this is. Many cars in Forza / Project cars have up to 8 gears. Many only have 5. 6 gears, 1 to 6, is a good balance for a default setting in a game that covers hundreds of cars. You can use the padals behind the wheels to go past 6th gear when needed. Euro Truck Simulator goes up 2 gears in each position which works well depending on the truck you are driving (they can go from 9 to 18 gears!). It also allows a shift key to make 1 to 6, 7 to 12 and vise versa. That's not really down to the manufacturer, Unless you want to buy an 18 position H shifter? They have provided a cost effective H shifter with 6 positions on it and a reverse to connect to your wheel and pedals. And I can say it works well for most instances. For the instances that it doesn't cover, there is usually an easy software work around with the controller buttons. As I prefer racing around in the older cars in games, pretending I'm James Bond in a DB5 for instance, it works a treat for me! For a 5 or 6 gear car, it's perfect! To conclude I spent around £200 for a gaming wheel with gear padals, 3 pedals, and a 6 position H shifter with a reverse gear. Am I happy with the purchase? Yes. Does it improve the gaming experience? Yes, immeasurably - you can't go back. Do I feel I got my money's worth? Yes. Is it perfect? No. But it depends on what you are after. For me, and most, it's a perfectly good and highly enjoyable solution. Just make sure you have something to attach it to and can stop the pedals sliding across the floor! I used this £23 table as shown in the picture https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0713S9252/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Great sim racing wheel!
This is a great budget sim racing wheel. It is capable of a lot! The force feedback is strong while not being capable of hurting you. It is great for drifting and racing. I bought a stand to go with the wheel. Mounting is extremely easy. There are twisty knobs on the top of the wheelbase. It is compatible with Xbox PC (and play station with the PlayStation version) the instructions are very helpful and tell you how to wire everything up. The Logitech G920 is compatible with a Logitech gear stick/shifter. It.is a real leather wheel and is really comfortable even for long sessions. It fits really nicely on my hands. I would definitely recommend!

As good as Hamilton in the Ferrari.
Perfect entry-level racing wheel for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One seeking a more immersive driving experience without a hefty price tag. ✅ Pros Excellent Build Quality: Features a hand-stitched leather-wrapped wheel and stainless steel paddle shifters, providing a premium feel. Dual-Motor Force Feedback: Delivers realistic resistance and tactile feedback, enhancing immersion during gameplay. 900° Rotation: Allows for precise steering control, accommodating various racing game styles. Integrated Desk Clamp: Ensures secure attachment to desks or racing stands, providing stability during intense sessions. ❌ Cons Stiff Brake Pedal: The brake pedal's resistance can be challenging for some users, potentially requiring adjustments in settings. Gear-Driven Mechanism: While reliable, it may produce more noise and less smoothness compared to belt-driven or direct-drive systems. Limited Button Layout: Compared to its PlayStation counterpart, the G29, the G920 has fewer buttons, which might limit in-game control customization. 🎮 Verdict This offers a compelling balance of quality and performance for its price point. It's particularly suitable for newcomers to sim racing or those on a budget. While it may lack some advanced features found in higher-end models, its solid construction and reliable feedback make it a worthy consideration for enhancing your racing game experience.

Almost perfect, but a couple of quirks
I’ve been using the Logitech G920 for a few weeks with iRacing and a few other racing sims, and I have to say, it’s really impressive. The force feedback feels strong and realistic, making corners and bumps feel alive, which adds a whole new level of immersion compared to just using a controller. The pedals are solid, too — the brake pedal has a nice progressive feel, and the gas pedal isn’t sloppy at all. Installation is straightforward, and the wheel feels high-quality. I also love the leather grip — it makes long sessions comfortable without slipping, even when my hands get a bit sweaty. Shifting with a manual gearbox works well, and the wheel rotation feels precise. The reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is a couple of small issues. The wheel base can be a bit noisy when really cranking the feedback, and the pedals, while solid, could use slightly more resistance on the clutch if you want ultra-realistic simulation. Also, the clamp system is fine for a desk, but if you’re trying to mount it to a dedicated racing rig, you might need some extra adjustments. Overall, this is a fantastic wheel for serious sim racers who want strong force feedback and a realistic feel without spending thousands. It’s almost perfect, and for most people, the small quirks won’t be a dealbreaker — just be aware that a few minor tweaks might be needed to get it feeling exactly how you want.

Great wheel for my Xbox Series S
Great wheel for Xbox as well as the pedals and shifter. Setting it up was easy. I only had one issue were one of the knobs on the wheel to loosen the clamp wouldn't spin. It took me a good 5 minutes but I eventually managed to loosen it just by giving it a LOT of elbow grease (and a few tears). So far, I've played with it on Forza and SnowRunner and it's really fun to use. It did take me a bit of practice, especially on Forza were I found myself spinning off the road often. I have to keep my controller nearby whenever I need to use the sticks such as navigating maps or in SnowRunner whenever I need to use the winch. I got it mainly for my Xbox Series S but planning on using it for my gaming laptop at some point for Truck Simulator. One thing to note is the brake pedal is more stiff than the accelerate and clutch to try and simulate what the brake pedal feels like. This is great but both games aren't aware of this. On Forza, it only registered 20% of the brake being pressed in. To fix this, all I had to do was go in the games settings and adjust the deadzone slider for deceleration. On SnowRunners, I put the brake sensitivity all the way to the top. Now both games register braking a lot better while keeping the stiffness of the pedal.

Extremely good quality
Had for about a year now. So I have alot to say, TL:DR at the bottom. The wheel is extremely good. While a little loud because of the vibration. Feels extremely premium, the pedals feels extremely good and so does the wheel. I have no issues about this thing holding up because how sturdy and premium it feels. The software is clean and is easy to use and navigate. You can use this on Xbox too but their isn't many games which support sadly. I used this mostly for truck simulators such as Euro and American where I clocked about 1000hrs on both using this wheel. It feels good. The force feedback while a little bit weak. Is extremely good for what I personally use it for. I can feel vibrations when I go over speed bumps and the resistance when turning. The only bad part is taking it apart and setting it up because it's a big bit of kit. It can frustrating and annoying which is why somtimes I leave it up and running. And additionally, the clutch is annoying to use because of how heavy the spring is so I changed for a lighter one. TL:DR: Premium feeling wheel, will hold up extremely well, only issue is the fact that the clutch is extremely hard to press and the set up process is a pain in the backside

Great intro to sim racing
This is the best and cheapest way to get into sim racing. Its easy to setup and use and as long as you by the one supported by your console you will be fine. If you're using pc both work. Really easy to setup and connect. It works with every game i've tried but realistically thats only WRC, F1, iRacing. All the buttons are in an good ergonomic place. The only one is the pause can be hit accidentally. If you're trying out sim racing there is no where better to start.
