A good set of various colours giving several shades of the same colour which is very useful for saving time when you do not wish to mix your own colours and a steal for when you do feel artistic enabling an enormous amount of hues. 36 solid round pans of water colours ideal for large works and small details. Children will enjoy them and great for adults to use for practice and sketchbooks. Ideal to use plan air as they fit safe for travelling, taking up a tiny amount of space and once open you have an infinite selecton of vibrant colours at your fingertips. Gives a good clear wash, no bits or breakups, good drying time. Excellent coverage and for wet in wet. I bought them to save money and usage on my professional pans, using these only for large practise and sketch book work. Good price for what they are. A good investment when you buy KOH-I-KNOR products, of which I have many as they last a life time and very good products as reliable and enjoyable as a pair of old comfy slippers or your old teddy. Arrived within a few days of order well packed.

I am a (very) amateur artist who goes to a weekly Arts Therapy class. I have always tried to steer clear of too much watercolour painting, mostly because I love bold colours, and have never been happy with the 'wishy washy' (as I no doubt very ignorantly call them) effects that most watercolour paints have produced. Most of that is, I admit, probably down to my almost total lack of expertise with the medium, but I just never found enough 'colour' in watercolour paints...until now!!! I am absolutely delighted to say that the wonderful selection in the KOH-I-NOOR stacking palette are the epitome of colour! You can achieve everything from the most delicate wash, to complete saturation, that is so strong, you would imagine it had been worked in inks or even acrylics. The palette itself is the most versatile thing - every layer simply stacks together, and you can even use the lid as a small mixing palette, too. The variation in colours are just beautiful. There is more than enough to challenge anyone requiring a full range for just about every subject you might want to paint. The deep, true, almost jewel-like depths and intensity of colour that you can achieve is stunning. And, for 'real' watercolour purists, the effects of these paints will definitely not disappoint - superb for laying down washes either wet on wet, or with a dry paper, they can easily be diluted to give very pleasing gentle skies and water scenes. I have a friend who is a trained artist, and who has worked with many different mediums, over 50+ years of creativity, and she absolutely adores these paints. I intend to get her a set for Christmas, actually, as she has tried mine and loved using them so much, she didn't stop praising them all throughout the class. These gorgeous paints are extraordinary, and I really am absolutely delighted to recommend them to all artists of any age, and level of experience. I really love them and will be buying them again as I need to - because I am certainly using them a great deal!

I received these paints yesterday... I thought they would be great for my holiday which they will but i tried them out and they are very difficult to get going!... you really have to work hard to get the paint on your brush and then it's all chalky and dries chalky, they will be good for quick sketches as I use my aquabrush when out and about and it seems to be wet enough to get the colour going. Please don't be put off by this review it's a lovely addition to anyone's travel kit easily stacked with lots of colours and looks cool! 😎

Saw these being demod on a tv channel and decided to try them. Lovely lot of colours to play with and the pigments are very rich but you do have to keep mixing and adding a drop more water to get them working properly which I knew beforehand. Once they have been started they perform excellently the next time of use. They also don't get messy as the water seems to just disappear and the palettes are easily stacked away and really are lovely and give amazing results for watercolouring. Great product. One tip is to allow them to perfectly dry before stacking them again and putting the lid back on. Well done and excellent product.

Portable, great to take on holiday and takes up little room. Great selection of vibrant colours. My daughter kept borrowing mine so I bought a set for her!

Love these paints, they are so nice to use and the colours are vibrant. The container is so compact and so handy, whoever thought of this is a genius. Would recommend this product and it's such good value for the money.

Fantastic product. I bought it for my 4 year old. She seems to be going through very quickly the usual 12 colour palettes so I was looking for something that lasts and has lovely colours so decided on this one. And it does not disappoint! Fantastic colours, they last the longest and it’s a space saver too! Great value at the same time.

Can be abit chalky for the first few uses but the colours are vivid, easy to mix,layer and blend. Good range of shades including gold and silver, since they're are stacked would be good for traveling with. Super affordable for the amount of the shades would be suitable for beginners and artists.

Dimensão das pastilhas no padrão de outras marcas, cores vivas, seleção de cores padrão, tem uma opção de cores metálicas que não é nada de mais. Para iniciantes e um ótimo estojo de aquarela.

Sul prodotto non ho nulla da dire, solo che me lo aspettavo più grande invece ha un diametro di 8,5 cm ma tutto sommato è meglio così, lo preferisco. Non sono per niente soddisfatta invece di quando e come mi è stato consegnato. Le previsioni di Amazon per la consegna del pacco sarebbe stato meglio se non ci fossero state per niente, sono cambiate in continuazione (cosa che fanno spesso) fornendo un disservizio in quanto mi sono organizzata più volte per rimanere in casa ad aspettare qualcosa che non arrivava. Quando poi è arrivato, a sorpresa ovviamente, la scatola di Amazon era aperta da un lato tanto che per vedere e tirare fuori gli acquerelli ho solo dovuto infilare dentro occhi e mano.
