Game of Thrones - Season 1-6 [DVD] [2016]

"Game of Thrones" is the series everyone is talking about, so I was looking for a way to watch it quickly without spending too much. This box set is the perfect way to jump into the world created by George RR Martin: every season costs you less than 10 pounds/euros, the package is nice and the DVD quality is really good. There are a lot of extras too. If you decide to buy every season separately, the price will be much higher. I've almost finished season 6 (in less than 3 weeks!) and I'm loving the series: the plot is compelling, the characters are perfectly portrayed and the authors dragged me in a world of knights, dames, mysteries, political struggle, magic, light, darkness and heroism. It's a trip worth doing, even if the night is dark and full of terrors. Don't miss it! WINTER IS COMING!

As the saying goes, it does what it says on the tin. A boxed set of Seasons 1-6 of Game of Thrones. Each DVD has 6 discs containing 2 episodes on each disc (minus the adverts) plus features. I watched all the TV episodes but to be able to watch whenever you like, as many as you like without the interuption of adverts has helped me see things I missed the first time of viewing on the TV, 'Winter is coming' so settle in and visit Westeros If you love this series, you should love this set.

I began watching Season 7 of GoT on Sky, even though I had never seen any of the episodes from the previous seasons. I was told not to by niece who was a GoT fan. Luckily I listened, ordered the Season 1-6 box set from Amazon and worked my way through, lots of binge watching i'm afraid, I couldn't turn it off and with the next episode ready to go, it was difficult not to put the next one on. Fantastic series, lived up, no exceeded the hype I had heard over the years. How I never watched it before, I will never know

I'm a big GoT fan, I think it's an excellent show and I am looking forward to Season 7 hitting our screens next year. I bought this box set as a gift for someone who wants to see it but has no access to Sky Atlantic or NowTV. I think the box set represents good value for money and will obviously be in a collection where it can be viewed again and lent out etc. Just hope the person I've bought it for will enjoy it as much as I have.

Watching this all the way through again! We like to re watch before a new series starts and I have to admit that we never get tired of it. Each time we watch we notice something new in the background or some related scene that now makes complete sense. Such a fantastic and gripping piece of entertainment that should be kept and watched many times.

Okay.. I LOVE this DVD collection.. however it only gets 4 stars because of the HIDEOUS bronze statue! WTH am I supposed to do with this?? I may have to "give" it to my brother-in-law for Christmas to get rid of it AND drive my sister insane.

worth it just to see my husbands face when he opened it , it was a surprise gift for him , so we've been watching 3 episodes a week every saturday since July , great great story line , maybe tad too much violence for me really , but doesn't stop me watching it . not sure if some of it has been badly clipped or edited as sometimes there doesn't seem to be clear continuity between one dvd and the next , but thats just our view , it won't stop us buying the final two series though

Excellent series and it was great to be able to look at it from episode 1 of series 1 right through to the end of Series 6. Great to watch the characters evolve over time and fantastic scenery evident at all times. Fantastic job done by all involved in its production and one can easily see why it is one of the best TV production programs ever produced.

Excellent product, I am enjoying the high quality Blu-Ray discs, works fine with my all region player, sound is also excellent, very cool bust statuette too

L'ho preso in edizione inglese perché in quella italiana i sottotitoli in inglese erano segnalati per non udenti invece a me servono normali sottotitoli. Peccato che anche qui al contrario di quanto detto ci siano solo quelli x non udenti... Ora so tutti i verbi inglesi per indicare notriti di cavalli!

Die Serie an sich muss ich gar nicht erst bewerten, denn ich denke ohne das entsprechende Interesse an der Serie und die eh schon vorhandende Begeisterung, kommt man gar nicht bis zu dieser "Serien-Box". Die Anlieferung verlief problemlos. Gerade das Design gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut. Ursprünglich wollte ich die einzelnen season boxes kaufen, aber die deutsche Variante ist Design-technisch da ja bekanntlich nicht ganz in sich komplementär verlaufen. Gerade deswegen eignet sich diese Komplett-Box wirklich hervorragend. Als Drachen Liebhaber finde ich das Außenmotiv natürlich sowieso perfekt und was mir auch sehr gefällt ist die angeraute Oberfläche, die dem ganzen nochmal mehr Persönlichkeit verleiht. Der Services ist gut, denn leider musste ich das Produkt zurückschicken, da mein Freund und ich uns lustigerweise beide das exakt gleiche Geschenk machen wollten. Da er schneller war mit dem Schenken, habe ich die Box anschließend zurückgeschickt und im Anschluss auch mein Geld zurück erstattet bekommen.
