Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner, Black

I've been trying to master the perfect 'flicks' for ages but I just hadn't found the right tools to do so. I think that this just might be my new secret weapon! The brush is great. It really helps to achieve a thin line and makes applying the eyeliner a lot easier than with other products I've tried. The brush is double-ended. The other end, which I probably won't use, is more of a sponge-type brush which I imagine would be useful if you want to smudge the liner to create a smokey-eyed effect. The eyeliner itself takes a few minutes to dry but once it has dried it really seems to stay put. I've had it on for 6 hours and the deep black colour hasn't faded at all. Also the eyeliner hasn't transfered or smudged which is amazing! As noted in other reviews, the eyeliner pot is very small, but you only need a tiny amount so it should still last for ages. I've tried many different eyeliners from both cheap and more expensive brands and this is by far the best. I can't fault it. What a find and such a good price too!

Beware of how long this stays in your makeup bag- a little goes a long way but it doesn't last as long as the amount in the pot if that makes any sense? Both the brush and the consistency of the product become more and more difficult to work with after about 6 months (at this point it is wise to replace both anyway for hygeine reasons) but other than that, I can not at all fault this product, my go to for three years now. The brush to start with is ultra fine and precise, the liner is jet black and ultra smooth/easy to work with. I use this for sharp feline flicks and cat eyes, or big black dramatic looks (set with black eyeshadow, it stays all day and night) it's great for festivals, one day at a festival I had to keep dousing my head under the drinking tap to stay cool- eyeliner stayed mostly completely untouched and intact. It really is rather good. You may want to use a larger brush for applying to a larger space on your eye. You know it needs replacing for sure when it starts becoming less black and harder to work with/not lasting as long. Buy it, it's the best I ever used and I've been doing 'bat eyes' since I was 12

I've always rather struggled applying eyeliner to my top eyelid - I just never seemed to be able to get it to look like one clean line without looking massively overdone (not a fan of the all-round-the-eye panda look). So the aim was for something rather more subtle. I've tried numerous 'easy to apply' pen eyeliners, both liquid and pencil, but would still only attempt it on special occasions as I knew the faff involved. However this Maybelline Gel eyeliner is the best I've tried!! I was slightly daunted by using the brush and pot, but don't be put off, it is easier than you might think and is easy to build up a narrow, clean looking line. It's not magic, and does take a bit of practice, but persevere as it is worth it. The staying power is also superb, I can put it on in the morning and at the end of the night it's still looking great. Would recommend to eyeliner pros and novices alike!

I've been using this eyeliner for years, easy to apply, lasts me all day. I don't think this waterproof, but I've showered and gone swimming plenty of times without it budging. Long as you don't rub your eyes too much. It's a true black, I've used this eyeliner everyday for literal years. It's easy to take off yet stays on all day. I probably only buy a jar a year, so it lasts for ages, you don't need much product.

This has been my go to eyeliner for years, I have watery eyes and this takes a lot to smudge. It’s great for thick liner and wings and love the dual brush and eyeshadow style brush. It lasts me ages, dries fast and is easy to put on.

Pros: nice brush. Good for tight lining or a smudged look. Cons: If you want something sharper, it won’t last. I just wanted to darken the roots of my lashes so my strip lashes blend in. It does that.

This one has so intense color and the brush works like a pencil liner. This is the perfect blend between liquid liner and pencil.

La línea de los ojos era una de las cosas que más me costaba al maquillarme por mi poco pulso y mi piel grasa. Nunca conseguía que me quedara un trazo recto y bien definido y algunos lápices me irritaban los ojos o no se marcaban bien por mi tipo de piel. He probado de diferentes calidades y precios incluidos los de alta gama. Y me quedo con este, sin lugar a dudas. Gracias al pincel puedes hacer el grosor que tu desees. Es preciso, muy fácil de aplicar y queda con un aspecto muy profesional y que dura mucho puesto. Además el venir con el potecito y pincel aparte creo que hará que dure mucho más sin acabar seco, como pasa a veces, si no eres de maquillarte cada día. Además no me deja sensación alguna de picor o molestia en los ojos, ni se nota. Repetiré seguro!

Cet eye liner est parmi tous ceux que j'ai pu tester de loin le meilleur : il tient parfaitement sans couler toute la journée et même la nuit ( pour celles qui ont oublié de se démaquiller!!) Hôtesse de l'air , je peux vous dire que je n'ai jamais eu de soucis de noir sous les yeux même apres 14h de vol ! Je l'applique même sur la partie interne inférieure de l'œil au ras des cils et pas d'allergie , et en plus le trait reste bien noir et ne s'efface pas ! Sans parler de la brosse à double embout ( un côté fin pinceau et un côté mousse pour estomper et créer un effet smoke. ) qui possède un double capuchon pour protéger les embouts ! Et tout cela pour une dizaine d'euros! J'ai racheté du coup un deuxième produit identique pour le mettre de côté au cas où ce produit magique viendrait à disparaître du commerce ! Bien refermer le pot pour éviter que l'eye liner ne sèche et vous pourrez le garder ainsi en utilisation quotidienne plusieurs mois! Vous pouvez l'acheter ... les yeux fermés!!
