These are excellent value for money and produce nice colours. They blend well and it's not difficult to get nice results from them. I prefer artist grade watercolour pencils as they're more pigmented and available to purchase open stock but considering how cheap and good these are, they'd be perfect for children or even for an artist on their travels. Accompanied with some waterbrushes, you basically have a mini studio in your pocket.

Excellent colour pencils at a competitive price and especially as they are water soluble. Staedtler are a reputable maker of drawing products and they don't disappoint with this nice set of pencils in a good range of colours, I've been using these on adult colouring books and the results are reasonably bright and vibrant. Not top of the range but certainly a great present for children and very useable for adults too who just want to spend some relaxing time colouring without spending a lot on professional ranges.

The best water colour pencils on the market! This is my 4th purchase of Noris Aquarelle, I have tested every one of this purchase, both as a pencil and as a water colour before writing this review, and maintain my opinion that they are the best! I have tried and given away many other makes, most of which were more expensive and professionally presented, but the pigments were never as consistent or as rich as the Noris, and in many cases the pencils themselves were not nice to draw or colour with and left impressions in the paper. I have not had any issues of this kind with Noris and highly recommend them. They also blend beautifully wet or dry. Tip: I now use a comparatively expensive pencil sharpener as I find with experience that it produces a better point, and I have not had any issues with leads breaking since either.

We purchased the Staedtler Noris Club Watersoluble Colouring Pencils 144 10NC24 Asst Pack 24 a few months ago for my 6 year old, who has decided he'd like to become an Artist among other things when he grows up. I thought they would be a fun way for him to experiment with different effects you can achieve in art. Well the result has been amazing, we have been using them regularly over the summer holidays, and the wonderful artwork that has been created is fabulous. He loves them and has created page upon page of wonderful works of art. The gentle blending effect is amazing, and easy to achieve, I am truly surprised with the finished product. For a 6 year old (and mum) to have no art skills or real knowledge of what we're doing, to be able to create such results is awesome, the pencils make you feel like a real artist. They are fun, beautifully soft, delicate shades and an amazing variety of colours. I don't know anything about watercolours from a professional point of view, but for the fun factor and creative factors alone I would highly recommend these pencils, you will not be disappointed. Great product at a very good price, I purchased our pencils from Claris and will be ordering another set for Christmas, as I can see this set running out very soon at this rate. The added bonus of a lovely brush is great although we purchased the Royal and Langnickel Sable Super Value Brush Set (1 Pack of 10 brushes ) to go with them so he could experiment with different brush styles, however the one supplied is lovely.

Great set of coloured pencils, perfect for what we want .. drawing designs on fresh, green wood for carving. Nice size and easy to grip. Very good price.

I absolutely love them! I am a huge fan of watercolour pencils in general and these are fab. These are excellent and I use them frequently to line my watercolour paintings or on their own.
