Apply a few drops to dry hair - fantastic results
I've been using this oil on my hair for several weeks and I love it, so thought I would share my experience. First, as others have said, this oil has no smell whatsoever. If you buy it and you smell anything at all, then I would suggest something is wrong with the bottle you have received and you should look to exchange it. For me, I prefer not to have strongly coconut-smelling products so the total lack of scent hasn't been an issue. Second, I initially wondered if "fractionated" coconut would be as good as having non-fractionated, regular coconut oil on my hair. I did some research and basically found out that it being fractionated is what is giving it an oil-like consistency, rather than being a solid block at room temperature which is what non-fractionated (normal) coconut oil does. I've had great results with this on my hair, so having it as an oil-like consistency has helped. So no issues with it being fractionated.I've tried this oil on my skin (it's great on my face, using just a drop or two, and hasn't caused any blemishes or overly oily problems), but the real joy is using this in my hair. I have very long, straight fine blond hair that tends to become dry/brittle on the ends. I've always needed to use quite a lot of conditioner to keep my hair detangled and to avoid split ends. I've tried using this oil on my hair when it was still wet, after washing and conditioning, and the results were okay. But the real results have come when I've used the oil after my hair has dried, after washing and conditioning it. I tend to let my hair air dry naturally, but I'd imagine this would also work well if you use a hair dryer. Once my hair is clean and dry, I separate it approximately in half and pull each half forward. I use exactly three drops of this oil per half of my hair (so, 6 drops total), rub it between my hands, then apply it just to the ends first, then slowly work upwards to about 4 inches from my scalp (no closer to the scalp, or I get oily looking roots). Immediately after doing this my hair look quite oily. I brush it out with a boar hair brush (it still looks oily at that point), then leave it alone and over the next few hours, the oily look disappears (the oil has absorbed) and the next time I brush it, my hair is beautifully soft, smooth, and shiny in a way that no conditioner has ever managed. I've tried using jojoba oil in the same way, but this oil - fractionated coconut - has been the best, by far. Will keep buying it and I really recommend it, particularly for long fine brittle hair like mine.

A must have for every thing
This stuff is amazing. Takes away itchy legs. Just a wee handful and rub all over my legs. Had a rash and I tried everything and wouldn't go away or stop itching. 2 days of coconut oil and it was gone. Also great putting a drop or 2 onto your hair before blow drying hair. Not to much it will make your hair heavy and greasy looking. This has been my third purchase of this. Got one for my sister as she had rash with friends cat hair and now gone. No marks left or scaring left. Hope this helps some people. X

Great stuff, really happy!
Really nice oil. I don't find it too greasy, been using it for some days now, no breakouts (if anything it calmed my skin a bit). I use it morning and evening and feels lovely on the skin.I even used it under my foundation (leave oil on the face for 10 minutes prior to applying foundation). My skin gets quite dry after cleaning make up of and this reduces dryness for me as well. Will buy again 100%

I liked this
Really liked the coconut oil, doesn't smell of anything, and its not as greasy as other oils.I haven't had an allergic reaction from it yet.(i have from other natural oils like macadamia nut , almond and avocado)Great as a hair serum if you use the tiniest amount only. also good as a hair mask to repair damage.

A wonderful oil ...
This oil is superb - I've been using it both to condition my hair and also as a facial moisturiser and nail oil and are already starting to see some great results. My skin's softer and smoother and my nails are looking healthier.Coconut oil has many benefits and I love the way you can use it for both cooking and your health/beauty needs. This oil is certainly one of the best!!

Very unpleasant smell and greasy
Don’t usually leave reviews but really disappointed with this product. Seemed a reasonable price, nicely designed bottle and arrived packaged well however the product has a very musty smell to it, and is very greasy. I used it on my baby’s cradle cap as recommended by the health visitor and her head still smells three days later despite repeated washing. It also left greasy marks in her Moses basket and on her baby bouncer. I’ve given it 3 stars as the product description does emphasise the oil as a base oil to be mixed with other things and many of the reviews warn of the bad smell so perhaps I should have read both sections in more detail before buying.

Lovely and fresh faced
Ingredients in cosmetic products are a bit scary, my motto, it you can't pronouce it or know off the top of your head what it is, don't put in on/in your body.I have been using the castor oil and almond oil, few drops mixed in my hand, as a cleanser for my face before bed. massaging it on to face and neck for a few mins, then cover face with a hot, damp face cloth for 10 seconds then wipe off. Leaves the skin feeling fresh, clean and moisturised and not greasy/oily at all. Then in the morning just splash face with cold water, no need to clease again. I use a few dabs of the fractionated coconut oil for moisturising in the morning. 100% natural. no chemicals and smells and feels lovely. Would recommend to anyone.

Good quality oil
I use this to ease my cat's skin condition, she really suffers at this time of year but it's impossible to get any oils into her orally. I massage this into her fur every couple of days, she finds it soothing and it was really improved her condition. It's harmless to cats if they do eat it, and it's pretty much tasteless so it doesn't put her of doing her usual grooming.
