I recently purchased the Diamond Crystal Pure Kosher Salt, and it has quickly become a must-have in my kitchen. Great value - the box is huge! Kosher salt is used in so many recipes online but I've never seen it in the shops in the UK. People suggest using sea salt as an alternative, but now I've got this I can see they are clearly not the same thing.

Expensive but good quality, no iodine in it and big grains easy to cook with.

The salt is finer than I thought it would be. Not good for a mill.

We could pretend that it has changed the way we taste our food, well not the way but the actual flavour......Nope not done that. But the whole experience of buying this salt, arrived in the carton that does need to be contained in a sealed bag to avoid moisture building up, is all part of the "salt experience". No additives or anti caking agents, just pop a dried pea or 3 in your salt shaker to help it from not caking into lumps due to moisture, and all is good. Yes., it is flavoursome when added to prepared dishes.......it is salt after all..! Being pure 100% salt I use this also for saline rinses that I have done for years, mixed with bicarbonate of soda. Being pure salt it is very much recommended for that use. You can't use salt that has additives within in for that purpose. Decent enough price, just protect it from extra moisture by placing the carton within a sealed bag. Recommended.

Been using this product for years, its hands down the best kosher salt in my opinion. I cook every day at home and this lasts me around 6 months. The texture is perfect for picking up in clumps, allowing control and the "feel" to how much salt you're adding - allowing for more ability with cooking.

This is the best kosher salt I have found, and I've tried several of them. The smaller but diamond-shaped grind allows it to dissolve well in liquid. It tastes great both on raw foods and in casseroles and baked goods. I love the taste on raw vegetables so much more than other kosher salts because it's more subtle, yet still clearly there.
