Blaupunkt Stockholm 400 DAB, black, 1-DIN

Fitted this in a 90's Bentley. I was asked for something tidy and SIMPLE. Fitted the bill perfectly.A nice feature is the permanent memory for settings, stations etc. This enables you to completely remove the battery without losing everything and it coming back on with the Disco Display where the head unit wants to display every colour and feature it can think off, or just blurting out loud white noise where the volume is 50% and it isn't tuned to a station. ( Both pet hates of mine, and I imagine everybody. lol ) .The clock resets itself after a few minutes of DAB or TA signal reception.I used a powered DAB splitter on the main aerial, which kept it tidy and simple. This gave good reception around me in Wales.

Looks the part in a classic car, very easy installation and is a Dab + which is important to receive many Dab stations.

I really like the retro range of stereos blaupunkt have available. I think thats a smart decision by them.This stereo won't blow you away and I don't think it's designed to be the fanciest in its price range. I think it's designed to be classy and retro looking but modern tech. And I think it achieves that really well. Because its retro looking with the small screen and minimum buttons it took a few minutes for me to figure out how to explore the menu and options, but now I have figured it out it's easy enough to use and it has everything you need.To operate Bluetooth you have to connect to it first through your phone and only then will there be a Bluetooth option in the source list. It shows the name of the device initially then afterwards there's a subtle Bluetooth symbol appears on the screen so you know its connected and while you're playing music from say.. Spotify, it shows the names of the songs on the screen. I think that's an impressive feature.I'm happy with the stereo, simple but elegant looks that will suit a lot of classic styled vehicles and car enthusiasts

Very good sound quality

I needed something to update my classic VW bus with, but it had to be in keeping with the '70's style dashboard and with the traditional VW's of old 2 knob design. This fits the bill perfectly, although, obviously modern, still looks very right in the old dash. Sound quality is more than perfectly acceptable for my use here, although I'm sure audiophiles would find it lacking! Colour and brightness can be set to match the dash perfectly. Still has an old school CD slot. Blue tooth, hands free phone, & DAB is all great and reception works very well with my existing in glass front screen antenna, through a passive splitter in my case. Price is reasonable, whilst certainly not low cost for what it is. Which leads me to the sad part, Although this unit is designed to look and feel very much like a Blaupunkt, it isn't really. They went bankrupt in late 2015 and since then, the brand has been licenced to other manufacturers. So this is really an unknown Chinese manufacturer product that would cost half the asking price without the name and Blaupunkt style faceplate! Still a nice quality unit though that looks the part. 2 year warranty too.

Installerade denna utan problem i min Volkswagen Golf 4, 2001 års modell. Jag har haft en 22 år gammal Blaupunkt stereo fram till nu, men nu vill jag få Bluetooth och DAB. Den kopplar omedelbart automatiskt upp mot Bluetooth på min Iphone på ett par sekunder när jag går in i bilen. DAB fungerar bra. Displayen är väldigt snygg och lättläst. Ljudet ut till mina 8 högtalare är väldigt bra, i stort sett felfritt. DAB är kristallklart. Dom gamla Blaupunkt-kontakterna passade direkt i den nya. Flera olika färger att välja i displayen, bland annat samma blå som min bils instrumentpanel är - Perfekt ! Stereon har mängder med inställningar så det kommer ta några dagar innan man vänjer sig. Jag har fått exakt vad jag ville. Stereo med DAB, Bluetooth, CD-spelare och ett riktigt bra ljud. Jag är 100 % nöjd.

Ich hatte 25 Jahre lang ein Top-Kenwood in meinem Opel GT laufen (audio-tapes), nun ging diese Ära, dem Verschleiß geschuldet, zu Ende. Nach etwas Recherche habe ich mich für das Stockholm entschieden, mir war das Abspielen von CD's und USB-sticks wichtig. Auch der unkomplizierte Anschluß im Oldtimer sowie der Sound natürlich. Alles wunderbar! Einbau 15 Minuten, Bass und Höhen sind einstellbar, es gibt voreingestellte EQ-Einstellungen und der schwarze Look passt zum 1969er Interieur recht gut. Die Bedienung erfordert etwas Eingewöhnung, aber das ist ja normal. Die Top-Lautstärke (ohne Zusatzverstärker) kommt zwar nicht ans alte Kenwood heran, genügt aber völlig (wenn man aber 50 ist müssen die Ohren beim Musikgenuß auch nicht mehr dröhnen, das tun sie schon von alleine...).

Autoradio tutto sommato ben fatto, non eguagliabile ai vecchi Becker ma il suo lavoro lo fa bene. Mi sarei aspettato di più dall’audio. Per il colore sarebbe stato meglio un serraggio RGB personalizzato anziché colori preimpostati. I
