Jack Reacher: never Go Back 4K

Excellent

Not as good as the first film but still a decent film and for £6.99 in 4K was a good price

The film received more than a fair share of critics... Tom Cruise returns to the role of Jack Reacher in which after working with former colleague Major Susan Turner (Cobie Saunders) he learns that she has been charged with espionage, something Reacher realizes to be a fit-up, but why? Reacher returns to his former base where Colonel Moorcroft who'd told him about the charges against Turner also reveals he may well be the father of a 15-year-old girl Samantha (Danika Yarosh) according to an old acquaintance who is filing a paternity suit against him. Well, Reacher tries to learn more about Sarah but is rebuffed initially by the street-wise teen. When Reacher tries to sort out Susan Turner's problem he finds himself also arrested falsely accused of murdering Moorcroft....the plot deepens. Reacher and Turner break out of custody and soon learn that Samantha is also a likely target now, the three will try to find a safe place to hide from their pursuers whilst they attempt to unravel what is going on. It will become obvious given the attention they are getting that the orders for their demise are coming from an obviously corrupt senior officer who controls hitmen such as The Hunter (Patrick Heusinger) A showdown inevitable between seemingly the evenly-matched Hunter and Reacher. Will the corrupt General be brought to justice? Will Reacher keep Samantha safe? and is Reacher really the teens' father? Good action-packed entertainment, undeserving in my opinion of its critics, certainly along with the first in the series, worthy of a viewing. The 4k upgrade is indeed first rate.

Good film, great picture and sound quality.

A Classis Action Movie-Good Plot Overall

Having read the book and enjoyed it I was rather surprised to find the film better. The only problem with 4K is that you find yourself looking at insignificant things on the screen rather than watching the action, like look at that piece of dust floating in front of Toms face!

Not sure I would have ordered these if I hadn't seen the Amazon Reacher series. Both of Tom Cruise's Jack Reacher movies are great. I think I liked this one a little better than the first. If you like Cruise, you will likely like these movies.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, having read all the Jack Reacher books. This story was quite close to the book plot which I always enjoy. Tom Cruise was excellent in the lead role. My only "picky" point would be that Jack Reacher is 6'4" and very intimidating and Tom Cruise is clearly nowhere near that height. I got past that because of the performance.

Fan de Tom Cruise, j'ai commandé sur Amazon les deux tomes jack Reacher. Le premier qui est arrivé et le numéro 2, je n'ai pu m'empêcher de le regarder. Nous sommes vraiment dans un film d'action américain, très sympa à regarder. Tom Cruise fidèle à lui-même. Par contre sa partenaire, même si je suis un féministe convaincu, n'a pas un rôle très intéressant dans cette histoire. Comme souvent pour les suites, je pense que le premier tome devrait être meilleur. Mais ,je ne regrette pas mon achat.
