Ok so firstly I did really really enjoy using this product, it is smooth and creamy and blends easy and feels so light on your skin and really does make your face look picture perfect.... how ever my only issue is it seems to cake a lot around the eye area which is a major no no for me as that is the true give away of using contour which shouldn’t be noticed it should look clean and fresh. Regardless I found the creases easy to blend out with enough time and the product definitely can be mixed together to make a range of other products, worth the money and great product with speedy delivery!

Honestly, NYX products are amazing. I can`t believe that I barely touch the palette with my brush and when I put it on my face the colour is so intense. Totally reccomand this.

This is an absolutely tremendous little set. I've done some make-up in my time, but I can control it, and one of the things that has never held temptation for me is contouring. I'm old enough to have salivated over the things Kevyn Aucoin could do with contouring, but the Kardashian-inspired obsession with the stuff just wasn't my bag. Also, I'm fair. Really, really fair. Even a glance at a pot of bronzer leaves me looking like I've been in an MMA title fight. But things change, and I needed to try contouring for reasons, but there was no way I was going to spend bags and bags of cash on a contouring palette I may never use. Enter the NYX Highlight & Contour Palette. Wow. Wow, wow, wow. There's a fine line between make-up that is poor quality (and barely pigmented) and high-quality make-up (with too much pigment), and this walks that line spectacularly. It's pigmented enough that you are never left frustrated by the lack of color, but not SO pigmented that you can't build the colors for better blending. There are shimmers AND mattes, which is very awesome, and while I was a little nervous about how dark the lightest dark shade would be, I find that with a moderate hand, it works just fine. Works well on different skin tones, too; my mother is a light Mediterranean tan with green undertones, and the palette compliments her coloring as well. The only thing I find subtracts from the quality is the staying-power. It wears well for a few hours, but smudges and deteriorates thereafter. I'm not sure it's something you would really want to try to re-apply. Also, I've really oily skin, especially in summer, so that probably has loads to do with the endurance. The reviews about broken boxes and smashed powders had me preparing for the worst when it arrived, but this little gem came in a bubble-mailer, inside another padded envelope. No displacement, no broken palettes. As I mentioned, I've never tried any other contouring palettes but I can't imagine the pricier ones being any better than this.
