Schwalbe Lugano 700c x 25 Road Racing Bike Tyres and Tubes (with Puncture Protection) - Black x 2

I’ve used this brand of tyre before, and they’re pretty good. I had the rear tyre on my bike (not the same brand) quite literally explode on a run out because the side wall was spent… so, looking around for a replacement, these where my first choice. From this supplier, the delivery was quick and the price is spot on for two tyres and tubes (just as well I got two tubes, as I popped one fitting it haha!) I’m satisfied.

Very grippy tyres. Good for commuting in winter. Zero punctures. Very heavy though and srubbed a good couple of mph off my Conti 4000sii. Having said that, I'd put 100% Faith in them on a commute or long winter ride. Easy to fit. Well made. Excellent value with the tubes too. I'm knocking the comfort down due to high rolling resistance.

Used schwalbe tires for years. Great value light weight summer tyres with good puncher protection. On this order I was unlucky and had a faulty one which blew out..(it happens) Seller responded and agreed to replace all within the space of a Sunday morning. Amazing stuff. Highly recommended seller.

I bought these not too long ago and even with just regular usage both already have had a puncture. Yes they are fairly cheap but I dont think they are worth the money.

Ideal for town bike, winter bike, commuter etc. My main bikes have Corsa G+ tubs/clinchers and GP4000's so I'm used to top end tyres and these Lugano's have been fantastic for a cheap reliable day to day all weather tyre. In fact, they outlast my top end tyres. I'm on my 3rd set in 3 years, primarily for my town/commuter Road bike, and besides two superficial Punctures I haven't had one single tyre blowout or deteriorated tyre wall. I've also had many KOM's on these and regularly descend at speeds of 50mph, so they will give performance too. All in all excellent value.

Fitted the tyres quite easily, and no problems out on the road. They look and feel well. Too early to commit on puncture resistance and durability. Only tried so far in the dry cannot say about grip.

Recensisco solo ora perché le ho provate per la prima volta ieri 28 dicembre. Battistrada largo, pneumatico scorrevole specie se gonfiato alla pressione giusta, secondo me non adatto alle competizioni a meno che non si debba affrontare una gara sotto la pioggia e con tante discese sul percorso, in questo caso vanno benissimo. Ci sono anche le due camere d'aria in omaggio, che non fanno mai male. Avevo scritto così ma mancavano un bel po' di km per verificarne la loro qualità, ebbene, dopo circa 1000 km devo dire che sono ottimi. Non ho bucato, solo ora il battistrada posteriore comincia a presentare un certo consumo. Secondo me la misura 25 è ottima in gara sotto la pioggia. Per mio figlio ordinerò sia la misura 25 che la misura 23. A conti fatti dovrò comprare 6 pneumatici, mi fate uno sconto?

⁃ I am refurbishing an older model barn-find Cannondale 3.0 Criterium SR 2000 Race bike. The bicycle has a Sunrims M13 II 6061 alloy 622 x 18mm rim and a Weinmann 622/70 rim. ⁃ The tires came with tubes. The tubes were labeled Vavert 700 x 18/25C ⁃ Before installing the tires, I replaced the old rim tape with the Schwalbe high pressure rim tape. ⁃ The tires plus tubes were easy to install. I inflated the tubes slightly so that they would form a round semi-firm shape. I then put the tubes into the actual tires and then wrapped the tires plus inner tube onto the tire. I was able to do it without using baby powder as I thought I would, something that is recommended by various bicycling forums. I did it on one side and then did it on the other side. ⁃ Removing the tires, just in case you are in a predicament, is actually easier than I thought. I actually had to remove one of the tires immediately after installation as I had got the rotational direction wrong. I just depressed the presta valve to the inner tube and once the tube was out of air, I then removed the tire using the Pedro tire levers. I changed the rotational direction and put the tire back on. ⁃ I pumped the tires using an Izende mini pump as the pump has a PSI gauge. I pumped them to 115 psi, as the recommended psi Is between 85-115 psi. ⁃ I did a visual inspection of both tires and they looked good. No unevenness anywhere. ⁃ They felt good on a couple of rides. I use them on pavement riding. ⁃ Since I intend to keep this bike for a while, I purchased an extra set for future.

Habe mich hier von dem Preis und der Marke blenden lassen. Viel zu weiches und dünnes Material .Pannenschutz gleich null. Es ist besser 30 Euro mehr, für einen hochwertigeren Reifen zu investieren. Das rechnet sich immer, da man nicht alle 2 Wochen einen neuen Schlauch kaufen muss.
