I actually bought this for my dog, she had a small abscess/ boil on her little paw and the vet wanted to put her to sleep to take it out… which I thought was ridiculous (think it was a grass seed) … anyway I was getting the ‘mummy knows best vibes’ that this wasn’t the right course of action so we waited and I bathed her paw daily, trying to draw it out etc, it was slowly going down on its own and was researching more about it when I heard about Poultices from someone in a dog forum who mentioned they had used one on their dog successfully (yes I know they’re meant for horses) anyway long story short I ordered this, it arrived and by the time I went to apply it , this little bump had gone and I’m left with a massive horse size poultice haha! I suppose I’m ready in case it happens again but I was super happy to learn of this little hack as I’m sure we would all rather try anything than have to put our beloved pets to sleep unnecessarily. Although I didn’t use it in the end, the instructions were really clear and from what else I’ve read they look like fantastic, age old traditional remedies for reducing abscesses and drawing out foreign objects in horses…… and dogs! 🤣

Simply the best

I have just taken my horse barefoot, and yes, he had an abscess within two months. With using this product he was sound within two days, I have always used this for any foot abscess but luckily not had too many over the last 40 years I have owned horses. But this is my go to every time.

Easy to use and seems to be helping to draw out the corn. Our boy isn't too thrilled but puts up with it.

Used on an infected bite wound. I have a very large rescue dog who is extremely fearful of vets. After trying other off the shelf remedies, this was the last resort. I’m very relieved to say that 72hrs later the swelling has gone and the wound looks clear of infection. No horribly stressful vet visit 😁
