Clearspring Organic Ambient Tofu 300 g - Pack of 6

I think this is lovely. It has an excellent flavour and really does taste of soya beans which a lot of tofu bought in the UK doesn't. The texture is beautiful, very smooth and silky - I like it best sliced up just as it is but it mashes very well too. You can also make it firmer by putting under a plate with a weight on top but I thought this detracted a bit from both flavour and texture. For me, this is by far the best tofu I have bought.

Fantastic tofu. This is my first time buying silken tofu as I usually buy the firmer variety. I used this to make chocolate pudding. It was absolutely delicious and so creamy! I used one carton of silken tofu, 50g of dark dairy free chocolate, 2 tablespoons of honey, a splash of almond milk, then whizzed the whole lot in the blender. I put the puddings into little glass dessert dishes and refrigerated them for 3 hours. Result: rich, creamy, luxurious chocolate pudding - which the whole family loved! Will be experimenting with more recipe ideas this week.

I gave five out of six packages to a good friend of mine. The texture of this made me sick, but the taste was amazing. I expected this to be very firm, and that's my fault. I'ts very good quality, and amazing value for the money.

This is organic and doesn't have the preservatives and artificial additives you see on other packaged tofu. It is super soft so either cut carefully into cubes for miso soup, or just eat it with some soy sauce. You can slice it and eat it as it is and add chopped spring onions, pickled ginger, yuzu kosho, shaved katsuobushi, etc for some more flavour. I wouldn't recommend it for hot pots or for frying.

I needed a boost of energy due to Cancer, (which magnesium provides) and found this product. Excellent and when I do not have my 1/3rd of a pack for more than two days, I get more lethargic. It is great for eating with banana, mango, thickening stews or stirfries, or anything, when you want to add extra calories but do not want overkill, then this is perfect. I have ordered several lots.

This is my third order of the "six-pack" Tofu and the quality of taste, texture and colour is bang-on what you would get from Japan. I lived in Japan for 12 years and the taste really does take me back, as it is that authentic. Sprinkle some Katsuobushi (Dried & Smoked Bonito Flakes) 40g on to the top with a little Soy Sauce and maybe a little grated ginger and spring onions and you have an excellent Japanese starter or side dish. Enjoy!!

Quick and perfect delivery. But I did not received directly ordered product. Producer the same, Organic tofu too, wegit the same, but prepare for CE countrys with more sugar and low other Nutrition. I hope it will be good like East version but could give more stars for other then in order product with more sugar because I’m diabetic :(.

I make nice-cream with it in my food processor by adding frozen fruits and date sauce but also excellent as a nutritional boost in lots of other recipes. It adds thickness and takes up the flavour of herbs and spices and marinades.

Bon tofu, de bonne qualité, quoique un peu cher. Mais le produit vient du japon, ceci explique peut être cela !
