My collection started with just this small 15 tin and I now have 72 , it’s still growing and I have the neocolor 1’s as well now . Such an amazing Art medium for new starters and professional Artists and for young children as well but these little neocolor 2 watercolour pastels they don’t come cheap but if you can afford them you will have so much fun . The colours that are available are amazing and the uses are amazing, you can use them dry just like neocolor 1’s or use them wet . Purchase a caran dach’e pallet mixing plate and you can mix & paint just like normal watercolours and they can work like gouache as well because they can be very opaque or like watercolours and be very transparent, like I said the neocolor 2’s are versatile and have so many different Arty uses . The price of this little starter pack is ideal and you can mix the colours to make other colours you need to create your Art . Yes can most definitely recommend neocolor’2 for price , art media use , creativeness, colour , quality.

What I was looking for waas the big chunky water-colour crayons, made by the same company. but they were far too expensive, These work the same way, but like a children's crayon in size. They both dissolve in a little water so you can make a 'palette on a piece of paper, and mix your colours on your 'pallete - no danger if flooding your painting, paint can be controled. You can also use sharpenings in the same way. Perhaps the advantage of these is that you can draaw on your picture, then use a damp brush to spread it out as water colour. You can be quite rnpepicee. I prefer the chunky ones because they re softer. I will have to save up my pennies! Both are good if you are new to watercolour, and can be used in mixed media.

I have recently discovered this brand and absolutely enjoyed using them. The tin has a variety of colours that are water soluble, great value for money and the design of the tin and contentce is really great. The size of the crayons and tin can fit into a bag for on the go artists. Very easy to use and would be fun for adults and children. Lovely product the same top quality as you would expect from such brand. A bit expensive but if want quality art materials than that usually requires parting with a large chunk of cash! If you’re not sure this is the product for you pick up this little 15 colour pack it’s enough to get you started and has two blues and two green so you can do a little blending without going straight for a bigger set. I got this on quite a good price so might be worth holding out for a bargain.

I wanted something I could take on holiday without having to pack pastels or oil paints and pallete etc. I would never have even looked at Neocolors as an alternative because they look just like childrens wax crayons, however they were recommended by a friend. When they arrived I had a little practice, I liked the result straight away. However I thought there were a few colours not included which I would use so I sent for a few single colours. Packed them into a bag with my sketch book and a few pencils etc and a couple of reservoir paintbrushes. I found it a bit daunting at first as I don't use water colour normally anyway. So the problems where not with the neocolors but my inexpierience. I persivered during the holiday and found them fasinating to use. I do think they could be used in mixed media alongside pastel and I am going to give that a try in the next few days. The colours are quite vibrant and blend easily with water. So all in all a really great product, Thanks Caran d'ache.

Die Wachsmalstifte von Caran d'Ache sind super professionell, die Farben kräftig und leuchtend, wunderbar! Beim Preis mussten wir zweimal überlegen, denn man kriegt ja Wachsmalstifte auch für einen viel günstigeren Preis. Diese sind jedoch nicht mit anderen bekannten Marken zu vergleichen. Absolute Kaufempfehlung für ein besonderes Geschenk für kleine und große Künstler*innen!!!

Me gusta mucho la consistencia suave de estos crayones y que al diluir lo dibujado con agua, no se notan los trazos como suele suceder con algunos lápices acuareleables. Los colores son vibrantes y los crayones en general son de buenísima calidad.
