NRS Healthcare Width Adjustable Toilet Frame

Write a review for a toilet aid. I barely bother to write reviews for anything of the very many things I buy on Amazon but this brought such joy to my father-in-law I really felt I ought to explain it to other people. He uses a frame to walk and the toilet top you see to raise the seat (he is 6ft 4 but slim). He had had some slips when raising himself from the seat, and had hurt himself so clearly I couldn't let this state of affairs continue. Originally I bought a couple of the dropdown bars with legs (the M48465) from the same (frankly excellent) company NRS (Amzon item: B006679ILI). But when I checked, there really was not room to safely add them around the toilet because of the pipework. So I had to look again and saw these. This is the adjustable seat and is (currently) cheaper than the non-width-adjustable seat. It can not only be changed easily widthways but also goes to a height where it can easily provide a tall person, or a person with a toilet topper comfortable and stable access to lower and raise themselves. At my in-laws it will just stay in place as a more mobile person could urinate with it in place. They won't use the seat because that would be odd but if it was a normal toilet with this around it, then anyone could use it without it getting in the way. It has made such a difference that I have bought one for my house so that when he visits (after COVID19 is no longer a threat) that he will be able to safely use our downstairs loo. I believe my sister in law is also going to buy one. This product has made a huge difference for a minimal cost. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I recently bought 2 of these following a bad fall as much quicker than wading through the red tape to get them on loan, one for downstairs loo and one for upstairs. It was delivered fully assembled and then you set to your required settings for width and height. I give it 5 stars on product suitability and quality but you can't get your VAT back even though it says you can by contacting the seller. I called them and they advise they just supply and Amazon is the seller but Amazon advised they cannot refund VAT to contact the seller...so none the wiser..bit disappointed there as that was a quite a chunk to have been refunded. It is very sturdy and well made...however, it will tilt a bit if you stand holding on to 1 arm...but it won't result in tipping over but it may cause a little unsteadiness if you weren't prepared. The only way to get around that is to get a permanent fitted type. I think this would be fine though as it is. I'm certainly satisfied with mine. It makes life a lot easier. PS update 7 months on, it dismantled easily to be stored in the loft as no longer required.

Fits round toilet easy to move. Really handy for elderly or if you had operations and need to be steady. Brilliant

Very impressed so far. Arrived pre assembled which is helpful. Feels solid and strong. Genuinely impressed for the price. I purchased this for my dad, due to cancer treatment his struggling get up and down. I think this will do the job. I specifically like the adjustable height and length configuration.

Item arrived already assembled. Fits well around the toilet. Height was sufficient but can be raised. Just follow instructions. Good quality. Very pleased. Many thanks.

The delivery man rang the bell at 7:10 am this morning. When I opened the door I was very surprised at the size of the box. It was huge! This was because the toilet frame had been delivered assembled. What a bonus! I was expecting a flat pack and was delighted to receive an assembled unit. The dimensions were perfect so no adjustments were necessary. All I had to do was to place the frame in its final position. The frame is very sturdy and stable. It will do the job perfectly. This is excellent value for money and in my opinion worth every penny.

Arrivato in anticipo, già montato e imballato in modo adatto.Facilissimo da adattare alle misure necessarie e molto solido. Purtroppo nel nuovo bagno con doccia per persone a ridotta mobilità non c'è la possibilità di mettere maniglie di sicurezza vicino al seggiolino. L'ho acquistato per la mia mamma che a causa di un grave trauma è gravemente disabile e provato già stasera: stabile, sicuro, non scivola sul piatto doccia bagnato grazie ai piedini larghi di gomma e finalmente la mia mamma si è sentita sicura! Montato al contrario rispetto alla foto, con le barre orizzontali passanti attraverso l'attacco del sedile doccia (e ad esso ancorato) è veramente stabile ed offre un appoggio sicuro. Ottimo prodotto ad un prezzo decisamente buono. Consigliatissimo.

Genuine product that is height and width adjustable. The product was well packed and delivered on time. Quality of the build is great and it is sturdy without a worry of tipping over. This primarily due to the rubber tips at the bottom of each of the four legs that provide a stable base as well as the weight of the product. Also included was a helpful instruction manual that allowed for easy assembly and confirmed that the product was original. Great buy!! Having tired other local options, I would highly recommend this.

Fácil de montar. Muy cómodo. Viene un tubo negro que no se donde ponerlo. Al final lo he puesto en la barra de abajo que es en el único sitio que cuadraba pero no veo que valga para nada. Buena ayuda para los ancianos. Vale para personas algo gruesas. El embalaje muy bien. Como ya viene montado es una caja enorme. Es recomendable que se apoyen en los dos lados a la vez. Si se apoyan en un brazo solamente es inestable.

Mi madre con prótesis de rodilla está encantada, vale también para poner en la silla , como método de sujeción en cualquier parte donde esté sentada e incluso vale como apoyo para una bandeja, es bastante robusto y puede con un peso de 100 k, el único pero que veo es que se ensucia bastante en las zonas de aperturas y sobre todo en la anchura.
