It has served me well ever since - no battery change required yet. It's very simple to set up and use, and I'll certainly be buying more if/when my data logging needs expand. I didn't have to perform any calibration, as occasional tests against high accuracy equipment showed me it was quite good at its job without it. One downside is that the phone won't connect to the sensor automatically unless you open the app (presumably to save battery life), so I do have a gap over the summer when I forgot about it for a few months - the backlog of something more than 20 days helped bridge that, but wasn't quite enough. In very broad terms you get what you pay for; accuracy and sensitivity (sometimes called discrimination, or resolution, or precision) both vary quite considerably between different brands and models, at different prices, as of course do facilities (such as remote reading, storage of data, etc.) In a market where prices range from around £10 to well over £1,000, this is one of only two which I managed to find that had the accuracy and sensitivity that I was looking for, coupled with remote reading and storage of data (both of which were essential for our particular purposes); and both were broadly the same price. This one actually was fractionally the cheaper of the two. The substantially cheaper ones do not achieve the same standards of accuracy and sensitivity, and/or they do not offer remote reading and data storage. But check the technical specifications; if a cheaper one will indeed fully meet your particular requirements then go for it. **Q: Is it good for a greenhouse (Ip68)?** A: IP68 means waterproof. Seller has clearly stated that this is not as it has a hole in the case, is not sealed and the electronics will be damaged if water gets inside. It is perfectly usable inside a greenhouse if you protect it from water. It's ideal. Setup was a breeze ( both on my iPad and my android phone); readings very accurate (compared to a recently fully calibrated Kestrel weather device). The Bluetooth range is impressive. Compact size is great for an instrument case. The battery supposedly should last about a year, so no recharging hassles, no sockets to get damaged or cables to lose, and battery replacement looks easy. The app is clear and elegant. There is a facility to email yourself a Csv file of all data for use in a spreadsheet. There are cheaper options for this type of monitoring, but this is top notch. Apparently there are plans for a wifi bridge, which might be useful for some users who need to monitor when away from the sensor location (the device itself retains about 2 weeks worth of data). When Amazon was out of stock of this item, I contacted SensorPush and they got back to me immediately with accurate information about the restock date: so all the signs of excellent customer service.
