Beautiful Unit - Highly recommended
I received my radio today and found it very easy to set up. The menus were intuitive and I was able to set everything up without consulting the manual. (I do read manuals and have read it all subsequently to make sure I didn't miss anything). The FM is very clear as is the Internet Radio. I successfully linked my MacBook Pro to the Bluetooth function and played iTunes. In all modes the sound was great. (We don't have DAB in Canada.) I will probably never use the CD player as CDs are essentially obsolete - and fully obsolete in my life. The unit is beautiful to look at and enhances any room - in my case on a sideboard in my kitchen. The remote is intuitive as are the controls on the radio. My only complaint is that there was a "marketing" sticker on the top of the radio - really only useful for display models in stores. I did not want it on my radio in my kitchen. It was very difficult to get off. Most electronics have this kind of marketing material on plastic affixed only by static or at the most by a very easy to peel off glue adhesive. This glue was very firm and the sticker peeled off in a top layer. It took we about 15 minutes to get this sticker off and it left a sticky residue that turned dark when I tried to rub it off. Fortunately I happened to have a bottle of Weiman's Adhesive Remover which restored the wood to a nice appearance. This could be a major irritant and the manufacturer should change this sticker.I am super pleased with this product. It is really a gem.A note about power: The power is supplied by an adapter that works from 100 to 240 volts input. (It says so on the unit, though this is standard for low voltage adapters for electronics.) I was told by the manufacturer that I would need a travel adapter as the unit is not packaged to be distributed in North America. However, the adapter actually has a built in North American plug with clip on adapters for the UK and Europe. There is no battery compartment and the size of this unit would make it an awkward portable.Delivery from the UK to Canada only took 4 days. Amazon took a deposit to cover customs charges. I did not have to pay anything at delivery. Shipping was reasonable and VAT was deducted form the price for sale in Canada. (export)

I've gone Gaga about this radio
I thoroughly researched the features on this radion after deciding to upgrade my previous Pure DMX-50 which is now 10 years old. For me the main criteria were:- DAB with good reception- Good, stereo sound with a decent range and able to play loudly without distortion- Bluetooth streaming- Media streaming from my NAS (Network drive with all my music on it)- Compact and stylish (although this was the top feature for my wife)- Price. Based on the fact that I'll be keeping this radio for around 10 years too, it didn't have to be cheap but not exceedingly wallet-bashing.This model hits the spot on all criteria. The only thing I miss from the old radio is the "Revu" and record options but this model didn't claim to have them so I'm not disappointed. The CD player is unnecessary and I would prefer to pay a bit less not to have it.Overall, I love it. If it cost less I'd buy one for every room of the house.

Very good for the price, but not quite five star.
Disappointed that no battery was included with the remote control, just a small inconvenience. Quite fiddly to set up , still making adjustments to the sound. The equaliser is disappointing especially on high notes ,the bass is good though. The CD and Bluetooth work fine, as does Internet radio. There is a good choice of DAB and Dab + stations. FM is also ok for stations not on Dab. The build quality seems good , I had Pure radios before and they were good. Overall it’s a good one box system.

A very good streaming unit.
This radio impressed me straight out of the box. It is good looking and solidly built. Connecting to my LAN was simple and adding stations to "my favourites" was equally as straightforward. From the off the sound quality was good and now, after three weeks of use, it has settled down to be excellent. I know that it is not quite hi-fi quality but, as a bedside radio, it will give years of pleasure. DAB and CD also work very well but will always be used minimally. Money well spent.

Sound output failed after 3 years 3 months
Since purchased in January 2018 the C-F6 has performed brilliantly, used for DAB radio, CD and connecting to YouTube via Bluetooth. Excellent sound and features. But it's all in vain when just outside the warranty period the sound first becomes intermittent and then fails altogether. Customer support has emailed a ticket in answer to my request for replacement or repair but then nothing.I am tempted to buy another but they are not cheap and if customer support doesn't respond soon then it's too much of a risk. A pity - it is a lovely bit of kit but too many purchasers seem to have the same problem. Buyer beware! But would be happy to give a more positive review if Pure get in touch with me!Three weeks after first contacting customer support I've still not heard anything apart from the first issue of a ticket number, in spite of three further emails to them. If you have a problem with your purchase YOU ARE REALLY STUCK! Hence only one star. However, following advice from another disgruntled purchaser I removed the back panel and unplugged the ribbon cable connecting the headphone/line output sockets to the circuit board and IT NOW WORKS! The problem with intermittent sound is probably due to a faulty headphone socket which should open a contact when headphones are removed.
