It works well with a curtain. **Q: Does this item need to be drilled to the wall?** A: Yes, if the wall is ceramic tile it is best to use masking tape where the 3 fixings are to be made, so as to stop the masonry drill bit from skidding around. **Q: I bought one of these but have misplaced the installation instructions, where can I find these online or can somebody help?** A: There isn't too much to know really. Place against the wall, mark the holes, drill holes & insert plugs. Bead of silicon down the back, place against the wall insert screws & tighten. Tip - a little washing up liquid on your finger then quickly run down the surplus silicon (if any). Wipe off on a rag. Other tips: When drilling holes in Porcelain tiles you need to purchase the correct drill bit. Ceramic tiles use a masonry drill bit and start off at slow speed (NEVER on impact setting - just use the drill setting). Use a piece of masking tape on the tiles before marking the position of the holes - this will help to stop the drill bit sliding and damaging the tiles. Hope thats of help. Just ask if you're unsure.
