I’m vegetarian and bought this simply to see how it tastes. Turns out, it taste really good. I like that the majority if not all of the ingredients are natural as the package says “notice how many you can pronounce.” I also noticed is that the sodium for one serving is only 390mg. With instant, freeze, dried and dehydrated food, one of the things to look out for is a high sodium count. At 17% Daily value for sodium, this is downright reasonable! It also taste really good. I frequently eat the main ingredients in various dishes: quinoa, black beans squash. For those were worried about spice, it is very mild. My wife, who caused a few shakes of pepper “zippy” handled it just fine. I admit, I added some hot sauce to mine. I bought other Good To-Go food and look forward to trying it. I have already ordered more of this Mexican Quinoa Bowl.

This made a good enough meal for two while camping, but it was bland for our tastes, so we added some cayenne & black pepper. Easy to make, decent nutritional value, completely inoffensive flavor that needs a boost.

I've had these a couple of times while traveling/backpacking. The portion size is good and it is made with real food. I'm not vegetarian or vegan and like to add some Tillamook jerky or similar to the bag after pouring in the boiling water. Good flavor - not too bland, not too spicy. I would recommend this.

Slightly bitter. But overall I ate it without fuss. I was curious, took a risk. No regrets.

This is hands down my favorite backpacking dinner entree and I try to always keep one on hand during backpacking season. I'm not a foodie so I'm not going to write a flowery review. All that I can say is that if you appreciate quinoa as well as Mexican food, then this is an excellent choice. Purchase with confidence.

Such a great product! Easy to pack it in and pack it out. Delicious. Vegan. I have been using a very similar product for years, but needed something vegan for this trip. After trying this and was pretty bummed I hadn't been buying it all the other years. I was worried this might have been smaller, but it was very filling. This one looked and tasted great. They have lots of other flavors, too — never would have imagined i was eating Bibimbap (one of the other flavors) in the back country! Love this and will be buying it all the time.

Bought these as "emergency rations" for my daughter who has celiac and often gets stuck late at work with limited access to gluten free food. They're very tasty, easy to fix and safe to eat.
