Had to put an extra rubber 'O' ring in as the first time I attached it the seal wasn't made and water sprayed out of the main connection.I suspect this was more to do with the tap I was attaching it to as I had a similar issue with a cheapy, standard plastic Y splitter so I suspect the thread on the tap may be slightly shorter than standard.With the extra ring in place the tap works perfectly and lets me isolate the two feeds separately, so I can connect/remove a hose reel without interfering with the washing machine.The isolating taps were a little stiff the first time I turned each of them, but turn smoothly since.

Having read other reviews, I was careful to use plenty of ptfe tape and only tighten the inlet sufficiently to seal it - I read a number of reviews where people had broken the brass fitting, which I assume is because it was over tightened? More ptfe for the two outlets and the push-fit outlet fittings went on well. It is easy in operation, the valves turn with a suitable amount of resistance and don't leak. I purchased two of these, one on the bottom of a main tap and for the other, attached to a hose extension, I used the single mounting hole and a narrow screw to hold it into position on a timber post. Hopefully, they will last a good long while, time will tell. I'm happy so far with them and would recommend this make.

Bought to tag on a dishwasher to the feed for my washing machine.Well made, 18 months on it’s still solid and as a bonus you can turn off the feed to either appliance.

Just what I was after.

It's easy to install and effective at what it does in the way of diverting water flow between which hose I need to use. Must admit it did drip quite a lot tho when under pressure, however I have since applied a liberal amount of Vaseline to the washer area and that seems to have done the trick. We shall wait and see. Other than that, it's quite a sturdily built appliance and I'd rather have it than not.

I like this because it is well made and easy to use.I use one outlet for a hose and the other for automatic watering of pots/hanging baskets. Had a similar one before but it froze up and cracked.Must remember to remove it before winter sets in.

Excellent product. I wanted it to plumb in an American Fridge Freezer. I connected it to the existing washing machine isolation valve under the sink which meant I did not have to cut into the cold water supply copper pipe. Job done in 3 minutes.
