Good Quality for the priuce.
I am giving them a 5 for the price very good. I was plane spotting and at 39000 feet you could see the markings on the aircraft. Good grip and lightweight and easy to focus on objects. Took a little bit to set up but pleased overall. Objects appear very clear and plenty of light coming through so objects are clear. Easy to fit into my small rucksack for transport.

Quality at a keen price.
I have just received these binoculars from UKHobbystore on Amazon. it took only 3 days from order to receipt with free delivery. Many thanks Having a Celestron telescope and pleased with the quality I thought I would go for their binoculars as a) They were competitively priced and b) The good reviews. I could have gone cheaper (and in some cases more expensive) for a little known or unbranded pair but I thought I would play safe. The binoculars come with a soft nylon type case with a strap and a thin nylon strap for the binoculars themselves. There are 4 lens caps the smaller ones being plastic (or hard rubber) the larger ones are a soft rubber material, a lens cloth and a simple instruction pamphlet. (multi-lingual) The performance of the binoculars themselves are excellent. Producing crisp images with no corona, double or blurring associated with prism misalignment. Both the central and dioptre (right eye piece) focusers are easy to use and the binoculars are surprisingly light. I am looking forward to using them for my astronomical observations. I have knocked a star off as the large rubber lens caps are extremely loose fitting and the slightest jolt sees them falling off. I will have to be careful about this although I feel that as I am taking them out of the case they will come off anyway

exceptional value for money
Firstly let me start by saying i am pleasantly surprised. the image is bright and sharp with hardly any haze on the outer edges. i bought these for star gazing and will try them out tonight, however on testing it on an overcast frosty morning, i could clearly see detail in the trees on the furthest visible tree tops and noticed more birds than i ever new were actually out and about. the icy rooftops looked incredibly detailed and i must say i am blown away. i did not expect this level of clarity for the money. the furthest visible leafless tree tops had a very slight green fringe coming off the wood, however i cant be sure if its moss of a slight bit of aberration, it was so faint i doubt it would put off any bird watcher. i will give further feedback once i have been out star gazing to confirm if this is evident. build quality is more than expectable and much lighter than i thought they would be, but still has a good weight. the strap, carry case and lens caps are basic but one comes to expect it for the money, in no way does it effect its performance. i will more than likely invest in a better strap and tripod adaptor. it does look like the lens caps can be easily lost so take care. all and all i will use these for many years to come and doubt i would need another pair to replace these i give it 5 stars as i feel it is exceptional value for money at this price range with a nice crisp image Update.. have taken it out star gazing and could not be happier with my purchase, the orion constellation showed many hidden objects with the famous nebula as a fuzzy patch. jupiter looked like a big star and i could clearly see 3 of its moons. love it and can only highly recommend it. best value and performance in this price range

Didn't know whether to give 1 or 5 stars. Celestron, sort out your quality control
I bought these Celestron UpClose G2 20 x 50 Binocular's to replace a pair of terrible Usogood binoculars I bought a day earlier. When this set arrived, I took off the lens covers & immediately noticed the the right objective lens had not been fitted correctly, it was around 5mm sunk in on one side, knowing that they would not work properly, I still tried them & as suspected, the right eye could not be focused. The box & binoculars were in perfect condition, so this fault was entirely down to poor manufacturing & even worse quality control. 1 star for this pair I returned this pair straightway & thanks to Amazons excellent returns policy, I received the replacement pair the next day. The new pair are excellent, nice clear crisp images & very nice to use. 5 stars for this pair Going by quite a few of the reviews of ALL Celestron product's quality control seems to be a big problem. It's a bit of a lottery if you are going to get an excellent item or one of the many bad ones that seem to sneak through Celestron's poor quality control

Celestron quality have me coming back time and time again...
These are a Christmas present for the father-in-law, his old 20x50 bins broke so we had no need to worry about what to buy him this year. After I purchased the Celestron 25x70 skymasters for myself, I knew Celestron would be the brand I would go for again, and they did not disappoint. Upon arrival, naturally I had to crack them open and give them a whirl before they go on to their new home & they did not disappoint, crystal clear images right from the off, great magnification, 50mm aperture allows floods of light through & comes with a neck strap, cleaning cloth, lens covers and carry case. Great sturdy binoculars, they ooze build quality, very comfortable to hold, although I do recommend upgrading the neck strap at some point, but that is not a complaint! They're not too heavy either so can be held for sustained periods of time. I read a lot of reviews of Celestron binoculars turning up to customers out of collimation, but both pairs I have received so far have been perfectly collimated upon arrival & I will be purchasing a pair of 10x50's for myself too for bird watching & I have no worry of them turning up out of collimation. If you're looking for binoculars then I highly recommend Celestron themselves, unless of course, you want ultra-superior quality then I recommend you go pay silly money.

Good product from a trusted manufacturer
I've owned a pair of Celestron NatureDX 10x42s I take camping for some time, so when I wanted a cheap, small pair of binoculars to keep in my backpack naturally I went back to this manufacturer. They are actually a little bigger than I expected, too big for trouser pockets, but would slip in a coat pocket okay. This is not a bad thing, they are still small & light enough not to notice they are in my BP, but big enough not to be fiddly & too sit on the eyes well, compared to x21 bins i've had in the past. Well made, easy to use & decent view... for the price-point, of course.

Fantastic!!
Being a complete novice, I did some research and originally ordered two pairs of Olympus 8x40 DPSI binoculars. When they came, the prism was offset and the inter-pupillary distance was too wide for my eyes so could not get a single focus. Item returned (see Olympus review). I then ordered two pairs of Celestron 10x50 binoculars (based on the reviews and price). I learnt about the technology and these had a larger magnification with a wider aperture allowing for more light to enter, so viewing dimmer objects, These also promised a narrower field of view. Eagerly awaited (as setting off in couple of days), they arrived. We followed the easy instructions to set up the separate eye pieces and used coloured string to identify each set per person (if same person using, this does not then have to be re-set). Then we used them on the garden and liked them. The focus ring is also easier to move than the Olympus. Well did they work?? Yes! The first animal viewed was a male wild tiger whilst on safari in India! What a view (difficult to see with the naked eye in long grass) but we could see his teeth and detail very clearly. Fantastic!! We also used the binoculars on other animals and could see feathers and talons on owls and large birds of prey etc. Amazing detail. Our guides also borrowed these (even though we were at back) to try to locate animals. They chose these over the other people's. Need I say more! The only downside - is the strap could be wider, but I put the strap over my camera one so the weight was distributed. This can easily be remedied by purchasing a wider strap. Both myself and my husband didn't know anything about binoculars until I did a bit of research, but would thoroughly recommend these to all. Well worth it (and bonus as cheaper too).
