As with many of the standard style crocs they look awful but as with all crocs they are so comfortable! Really sturdy & are great for what I wanted - a good shoe to be able to put on quickly to do the gardening. Haven't slipped in them once, even when the ground has been wet. They do tend to pick up all the grass & dirt in their treads so I need to take them off as soon as I get inside or risk traipsing bits around the house but that's not a major problem. I normally take a size 6 in boots so I can wear socks with them. I bought these in a size 6 & they are a pretty snug fit. That's fine for the summer, I have yet to see whether they'll be big enough to wear with socks later in the year.

This crocs model is the only one that fitted exceptionally well on my narrow and low instep feet. There is plenty of space for the toes, but the clog hugs your feet just right and holds on very securely even without a back strap. I'm a big fan of the Crocs brand and own about a dozen of various pairs of their clogs. Normally, I have to shrink the instep area by heating it with the hairdryer to be able to walk comfortably but Bistro crocs just spot on. By the way, you can stretch the crocs using the heat very easily too, just be careful not to overstretch them. Size wise they are true to size, I'm UK 9 and had bought my own size. Dark blue/navy looks smart and each back strap has two holes for the jibbitz charms. The soles are brilliantly nonslip and they are quite warm due to absence of vent holes, but amazingly comfortable.

Nothing wrong with the product, just an example of why internet shopping dioes not work for items such as shoes, where personal fit is paramount. I thought I was safe with these as they wre intended to replace the previous seemingly identical item which had worn out. Alas, it emerged that the shape of the shoe has been changed just sufficiently so that they were extremely uncomfortable, so they were returned. Our local shoe shops will be keeping my business.
