Bought this shapewear on the strength of the positive reviews and definitely agree with them. I actually sent for two - one in black in a 16/18 and one in Nude in a 12/14 as the reviews seemed to have opposing views about whether to buy a smaller size or your usual one. The larger one was easier to get on although the smaller one was okay too after a bit of wriggling - it felt tighter but was definitely bearable. In fact, both were comfortable to wear and I could imagine being able to wear them for long periods as they were quite lightweight. Hoping this would be useful shapewear to wear in the summer months or on holiday in warmer climates. Personally, I didn't think there was a lot of difference in the effect of the smaller one in comparison to the large when I looked in the mirror. They look good compared to the usual shapewear - the lace at the bottom makes them look quite 'vintage' - the black looks especially good. As for the 'shapewear' part - they made me look much more streamlined in clothes - I tried them on with a form fitting dress and they smoothed out my lumps and bumps, especially on my hips and stomach - I measured myself and I had dropped only an inch in size but I looked much better. No effect at all on the waist though so don't buy this if you looking for a waist cincher. I like that it allows you to wear your own bra as I find the ones with a bra attached never seem to fit properly - I also like the straps as I find the control briefs that end at the waist tend to roll down as you wear them. The fastening is easy to do up (although I may not say that after a long night out!) and feels quite comfortable at the moment - I will do another review after I have worn one for a long period of time since I have bought two and so have the opportunity to do two reviews.

How can I put this simply? This bodysuit is amazing. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. I chose one exactly my size (16) and it fit so well. I wanted to get it to cover up the folds in my back, I paired it with a back smoothing bra, and it just looked so nice under my button down shirt. it's so comfortable. Comfortable enough to wear for a day. I know some people are against slimming garments such as this one, but if I'm losing weight and keeping track of what I eat, I don't see why I can't feel a bit more confident in my clothes.In summary, this brought boosted up my confidence and I love itEdit: just bought a third. Wore under tight fitting ball gown. Smoothed our lumps and bumps.But I found when I put my bra on I had the option of pulling the material from the garment underneath (not comfy) or over my bra (looked odd) so I never wore one.This was ok for the dress I was wearing but might not do for all outfits.

Too small at the top, I don't know how they squished her in in the picture but not supportive. I thought I had it on the wrong way at first but unfortunately not. Otherwise gives a lovely shape but returned as it didn't quite do what I wanted.

Super dissapointing, brought this In hopes it would even me out so I could wear my favourite dress to a wedding, I’m a size 16 so I ordered an XL, was sent a XL and it would even go round my legs! Contacted the seller for a refund and they advised me to sell it to a friend and they would give me a 15% refund! Instead they sent me a 3xl which is a size 24-26 and it’s too tight! The sizes are all wrong! However the fabric is lovely and soft, doesn’t really roll, once you can get it on! Will not be ordering again

This is very well made and looks much prettier than most other garments of its kind. I am usually a size 12 but after reading the reviews I ordered a size 8-10, which fits very comfortably and gives a nice smooth body in a very fitted dress. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the hook and eye fastening in the crotch area is a bit hard and uncomfortable - I am hoping it will soften with use and washing etc. All said, I am very happy with this product, a useful addition to my wardrobe.

I don't write many reviews (and I order a LOT from amazon) but when I do write one it's because I have instantly fallen in love with something. To me this is worth the money!!! It's soft, silly and sexy. I'm 5ft 2 smack in the middle 12-14 with latino curves and if I want to eat I have to work out. If I go to next I'm a 14, if I go to New Look I'm a 12 so you can get where I'm coming from... I have wobbles and I have muscles. The wobbles are in the stomach mainly so when I put this on I shouted "Oh Yes" just like the dog in the advert. I bought the black as everything I own is black and now I've been told I have to wear pastel colours for a wedding, so I will be purchasing a nude/white one... just hope they have it. It's also the old fashion hooks at the crotch so rather than having to take it off every time you need to visit the ladies, it's a simple unhook and job done!

Based on the reviews I decided to give this a try. I have tried all sorts in the past in an attempt to smooth down my wobbly mummy tummy, all of which have either been incredibly uncomfortable or poorly fitted. My weight has crept up over the last year and I've gone up to a size 18 (verging on 20 in some stores!). Based on the reviews I went for the size 16-18 and when it arrived took one look at it and thought there's no way that's going to fit. How wrong was I!!! It went on beautifully, feels incredibly comfortable and lightweight yet firm and best of all it gives me a perfect slimline figure!! Unlike others it also looks very pretty so embarrassing Bridget Jones spanx look. It's so comfortable I'm ordering more to wear everyday!!
