I bought this book for my 7 year old son, because I was a desperate dad trying to get my son off his screens. He is normally a curious boy and loves asking questions, so I thought this would be perfect for him. I got him to sit down and read the first chapter with me. When we started, he kept moaning, but after three pages, he was absorbed. All he did for the next month in his free time was read, and I was honestly shocked, as he hates reading! Arrived in perfect condition as well. This is recommended.

Gift recipient (7 year old boy) absolutely loved this. He is a sponge for knowledge and couldn't get enough of this book.

If you feel like you're on a quiz show with your child asking you why about everything then this book is for them! The children will love learning all the facts and it will keep them entertained for a long time. The book has fantastic photographs as well as bring filled with facts.

Bought as a present, I have no idea how it was accepted but I enjoyed the few pages I read.

Bought for a kid, would of read it myself otherwise.

I bought two of this book, one for my daughter and one for her friend as a birthday gift. Unfortunately, one book has some dirt on it. This is unacceptable.

This is truly one terrific kids' reference book that belongs on every family or school library bookshelf. Well researched and written with captivating photos and illustrations. My 9-year old grandson immediately sat down with it for hours. Reasonably priced & fast receipt, too!

I bought this for my niece for Xmas because books like this make kids curious and interested in how everything works. I had something similar as a kid and I still wanna know everything about everything. Well, I could not help myself and I'm almost done reading it before I wrap it. It's easy and fun to read and its guaranteed you'll learn something every time you open it. The pictures are from national geographic so the book is gorgeous. Will look for more like this

He loves to pull out the book and share facts with mom, dad, grandma and grandpa and pretty much anyone who will listen. A great book for any “know-it-all”.
