A very different take on angels and vampires.I haven't actually read any of the previous books in the series but I don't think you have to, until the end, where there is no end..... Much as I thoroughly enjoyed the story I really don't like cliffhangers, hence only four stars from me.The storyline was kept exciting throughout.The characters were very different and very imaginative, all with a special gift. Written in the first person being Heathcliff who is crazy in love with Raquel.A brilliant story and well worth picking up

I've been waiting for this book in the Fashionably Dead series since I first came across Heathcliffe. A few books in and it's clear he has feelings for Ethan's sister Raquel, but it isn't until this book that you realise the vampires have been sparring in the bedroom and out for two hundred years, whilst hiding their true feelings for each other.In this book there's a summit in Paris with vampires and angels, but Raquel is held back as Vlad, yep that one, wants to mate her and destroy her family.She has also kept a dark secret from Heath for those 200 years but now all bets are off.We have political parties at war, creepy vampire plots, a sizzling love story and a huge amount of humour. Satan has another fun guest appearance and Astrid prices how life smart she is.

I love reading all of robyn's books especially the hot damned series I can see all the characters in my head while I'm reading Samuel is the cutest baby the baby demons make me laugh so does the devil when he can't understand when something he says or does could be wrong if you haven't read any of the hot damned series yet do they will make you laugh out loud .

Oh wow, what another fantastic read, I totally loved this couple I'm so glad they got to tell there story, even through all the ups and downs they totally kicked ass, of course all the gang is back through all the madness

I cannot say enough good things about this series!! I was hooked from the first book and I feel like I devoured this story. It is well written, witty and the characters feel real-I wish I knew Astrid in real life! I'm eagerly waiting for the next book and I would recommend this series to anyone looking for a laugh and a bit of romance - perfection in a book!!

Why Amazon insist on 20 words for a review via kindle, I don't know. Especially when I just want to say that I really enjoyed this book.

I have read all the books in this series and I love them! These books are pure entertainment and so funny that I had to stop reading them in bed, I kept waking my Husband with my laughter.If you want an easy to read book with characters you will fall in love with.. namely Astrid this series is for you
