We had liked our previous Russell Hobbs microwave, which had begun to develop rust after many years daily use. This one is similar, and easy to control with single-button 30 secs timer which you can press multiple times to get 1 min, 2 mins, 3 1/2 mins etc. Or you can set an exact time and a preferred reduced power setting with a few simple button presses. ... N.B. We had to send back the first one that came, the lamp only lasted 3 days and cannot be replaced by non-technicians. We re-ordered another microwave of the same model. Amazon credited us OK under guarantee for the first one, and its (free) return by collection was arranged by them OK.

This microwave looks really nice and matches our other cream kitchen appliances. The mirrored front gets fingerprints on easily, but it's not a big issue. There are a lot of functions I'll never in all honesty use, but they may be useful to some people (e.g. weight/time defrost/cook, pre-sets, auto-cook by ingredient etc). I just press the 30 secs button the number of times I want something heated, and for that, it does the job brilliantly! If I had one quibble it's the yellow light inside - I wish it were whiter, as it's a bit odd. It's also tricky to see inside when things are cooking, but I think most microwaves are. The red clock is quite bright and I wish it was perhaps a different colour (white or blue perhaps), but again, not a big deal.

Works well, looks good, easy to use, and doesn't take up too much room. Not a great 'looker', but we chose our last two on looks and they both died after two years - hopefully this one will last longer. My only niggle with it is that the labels on the controls are in a sort of bright grey/silver, which is hard to see against a cream background in a brightly lit kitchen. Shortly after we first had it, I accidentally switched it on with nothing in it and couldn't see which button was 'stop', so had to switch it off at the mains! I know which button it is now, but if I need to do something unfamiliar, like resetting the time, I have to put my reading glasses on, which is a pain.

This is an easy to use basic micro wave oven. The functions of the controls are simple to grasp and I like the one click for 30 seconds of full power or multiple clicks to add 30 second increments. For longer periods of cooking time the twist control at the bottom gives simple setting. It is also easy to select lower heat settings and defrost times. The oven seems well made with positive door closing and smart appearance. All in all a basic kitchen micro wave at a modest cost.

Nice rich cream colour. Looks good in my cream kitchen. Easy to use but tbh I just press start (30 seconds) the number of times for the number of minutes I need. So Easy!!

Nice, sleek, compact design. Much faster and more efficient at heating and cooking through than any previous microwave I've used. Only concern is that the door opening button feels weak.

Bought this item in 2021. Not even 3years old yet. Was using it to heat porridge for 2mins 30 secs and it BURST into flames!! The circular ring with plastic wheel that the rotating plate sits on seems to have caught fire, melted itself AND MELTED THROUGH THE GLASS PLATE as per the photograph’s. Took hours for the smell to leave. Phoned RH. NO HELP “out of warranty. Take it up with your seller, Amazon”. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY REASONS. They (RH) had to do a product recall for similar reasons on their combo microwave/oven product a few years back so what does that say about the quality of their products and them only having a 1year guarantee? I registered this product the day I received it. What was the point? I WILL NEVER BUY RH AGAIN especially as the customer service was so bad. Not even an acknowledgment or apology for the stress and disruption this caused me!! DISGRACEFUL
