Deco Art DAO1-3 Americana Paint 2 OZ, Snow White-Opaque, One Size

I’ve used this gold paint on a few DIY projects around the house, and it’s made the furniture pieces I painted really stand out with a classy, expensive look. It dries quickly, has great quality, and the consistency is just right—not too thick or too runny. Really impressed

I bought the "Glorious Gold" version of this product. It's a smallish bottle, but a little goes a long way. It was bought to embellish some raised lettering on a couple of Santa post boxes. See my photo. It adhered very well to the gloss paint already applied to the lettering. It needs a very vigorous, prolonged shake before use. The first coat can appear a little watery at first. But give it three coats or more and you'll get a nice finish. It dries quite quickly, so re-coating can happen quite rapidly. It seems to be weatherproof once dry too - so that's a big plus! I'm very pleased with my purchase!

Good quality easy to use

The colour is lovely, being a nice dark blue. The paint isn't too thick but has a consistency that spreads well. I haven't noticed any particular smell and the paint if applied in an even coat dries quickly. This paint is not the cheapest on the market, but it is a good one.

A lovely finish with a sheen that isn't too shiny. Covers well and dries quickly. I used one coat as I didn't want it to be over blingy but two coats would give a good finished colour. Not cheap but a little goes a long way so good value. Washes out of the brush very easily.

Love this paint. It may be a small pit. But it has lasted me ages as you only need a small amount. Will be buying again for my christmas crafting

I have a 48 tube acrylic paint set from Castle Arts that includes gold. It is sensationally good. I was hoping that this would be up to that level but it is dull by comparison I am afraid.

The DecoArt Americana Acrylic paint is excellent paint which bond good on plastic and other surfaces and has a good finishing on painting, good support has been provided by Booyah chicago and was delivered on time.

Absolutely obsessed with this gold color! It drys shiny and looks honestly like gold leaf if applied properly. Always be sure to shake the bottle before using as there is a clear liquid that will come out first if you do not. Definitely use in a well ventilated area as this paint does have a bit of a strong smell that makes me a little dizzy after a while of using. Smell completely goes away after drying. I’ve used their silver color in the past and was so impressed and this gold color is another amazing item from the brand. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to level-up their painting. Works on a variety of materials- I’ve painted wood, plastic, and canvas and had great success. Great coverage on all of these materials so far. Does not fade over time- I purchased this quite a while ago and the first items I painted still look as good as they did on day 1.
