Adorable and fun addition to our nature viewing equipment! First thing my kids do in the morning is run to window to see if we have a squirrel on our picnic table. The set up of the table was super easy as well as fastening it to the fence. It's easily holds the corn and is very sturdy. It's been raining recently and everything has been staying affixed just fine. Price was good as well! The squirrels are very happy!

The media could not be loaded. This is absolutely adorable. Its just I had imagined it to be. Cute adorable and does what its supposed to do.Our visitor seems to be enjoying his time. Its meant to host squirrels and it does exactly that. Also I have a few cardianls who come and sit on it.The only reaons I reduced a star is because the wood is not of a very good quality, it cracked as my husband was puting on the screws that came with the pack.

Very poorly designed after two months of outdoor use, it fell apart. The carpenter of this device should be taken off of Amazon. The nails that they used were too short and too small. Perhaps they should glue after they nailed it they thought cheap and they got cheap. Perhaps if they glued or use stronger nails it would’ve held together longer. I would never recommend this carpenter. His skills are garbage.

The feeder looks great, but the build quality is disappointing. The bottom seats are only held together with four small tack nails, and they fell off quickly due to poor construction. Unfortunately, without reinforcing it yourself, this feeder won’t hold up for long.The wood also split where the umbrella connects. . Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re handy with repairs.

I don't know how long this thing will last, but the squirrels do seem to appreciate it, which in turn entertains the cats. I buy packaged corn cobs here on Amazon too, and I have to cut them in half in order to fit under the umbrella, but they slide right onto the screw easily. You can also put loose kernels right in there, but I find the chipmunks can't steal it all when it's attached to the cob. It's been fun watching the squirrels hang out for extended periods just chomping away. And I think I'm getting more entertainment for my corn money too.

Kinda cheaply made, and there were no assembly instructions. The description says “no assembly needed”, but that’s not true. I had to find additional; hardware from my home hardware bin in order to mount the umbrella and the corn. Mounting nails were included, but I’m going to use screws instead, in case it needs to be taken down and repaired. I can see that in the next few years as being a necessity.I added toothpicks and glue to the mounting holes in the vertical piece that was not attached to the end of the table, and those 4 mounting holes did not line up with the outer sides; they were off by about 1/16”. I also added washers to the top and bottom of the screw that I mounted the umbrella with, because the hole, in the hard wood grain, was causing the umbrella to tilt to one side, in parallel with the wood grain.In hindsight, I could probably 3D print this in ASA and assemble it from scratch, to make a better product.I hope the squirrels (Grumpy and his extended family) are happy.Update: The umbrella broke, a few days before the return window closed. I was going to see if I could just repair it myself, and found that it has a manufacturing defect, as shown in the pictures. The single pin used to secure the umbrella cap to the pole was installed at an angle, and it did not fully seat within the cap. Amazon is only offering a refund with return, but I have already assembled the product. No seller contact info available.Disappointing. And it’s supposed to rain tomorrow.
