Drayton SCR
Looking at other reviews, these devices do not seem very reliable. I have had two failures over 8 years for different reasons. The first was the relay was operating but not always making contact, the second was the relay stuck on, so we had hot radiators mid summer. This unit is a direct replacement, easy to install, pair with the transmitter and recommended, I just hope it lasts longer.

Very quick delivery and well priced. I only gave it 4 stars because owing to the mild weather apart from setting it up it 's only been monitoring the signal from the transmitter so until the heating kicks in I won't know how well it operates.

Easy, direct replacement for original
Bought to replace an identical, but faulty, receiver that was fitted about 18 years ago. Our heating failed, but the boiler was still producing hot water to the taps, so having researched what may be wrong, it was a simple job to remove the front face of the original scr receiver, and just fit this exact match in it's place. No wiring was required, just had to undo 2 screws and swap the receivers over. I'm very happy with the item and it made for an easy DIY job which got the heating back up and running again.

Don not use this supplier
Ordered this unit cost £100 did not work so returned item but only got a £51 refund so they kept £49 of my money

Great that sold on its own
Our receiver broke but our remote was fine was looking like we would have to shed put some cash for both as they only seemed to come in a set. Also ours was a slightly different make but looked the same as this one and works great fingers crossed. Easy to install.

Brilliant service, arrived as promised and on time
Brilliant service, arrived as promised and on time, it was to replace a British gas WR1 it fitted perfectly and easy to install. We had breakdown cover with 247 insurance they wanted to charge us 92 pounds plus the 75 we had already paid so this little gem was a find.

Great service.
Arrived the day after ordering; couldn't be better. Connected O.K. to my British Gas RC Plus controller,(but you really do have to follow the instructions to the letter).Seems to be working fine now. All very good.
