Quality food for all pond fish. Been using it for years now.

Although it is more expensive the koi fishes were less sluggish eating these Hikari pellets versus other brands. They really like it and is always racing to the top. With another brand, they do not want to eat it at all. It also smells much better than other brands.

My Koi and larger goldfish love this food. Seems to keep their color bright. Floats for a while and doesn't seem to come apart or dirty the water before they can eat it.

If you have bigger fish, either giant orandas or ryukins or koi, this should be a good filler food, pellets are big, my orandas are 5 inchers, they gulp easily 7-8 pellets each at a time, they are pooping better as well. Better choice than hikari purple or green pack gold fish food. Pack is big and food spoils pretty easy if kept as is. OK choice if you have lots of fishes and the food would be used up. Else You can expect food to spoil.
