Excellent Support Without the Bulk
After having a stroke, I was left with a weak ankle, and this brace has been perfect. The support is excellent, thanks to the side stabilizers and cross fixing belt, but it’s so comfortable that I barely even notice I’m wearing it. Really helps with stability and confidence while walking.

Comfort and support for weak ankle
I bought this brace for my husband's newly mended ankle to support it on holiday in Florida after a particularly bad break. It did this job well. It was easily fitted, easily adjusted, was durable, and comfortable enough to be worn for a full day at Disney parks. We did buy others that my husband didn't find supportive enough, and threw away before eventually finding this one. I would however say...I'm not a medical professional, so use with advice from your GP or Consultant , as we did.

Excellent Stability, But Very Tricky to Fit in Shoes
I purchased this brace for my daughter, a Taekwondo athlete with a history of recurrent ankle sprains, based on the recommendation for high rigidity and side stabilizers. For its primary purpose—preventing an ankle roll—it is exceptional. Pros (Where it Excels): • Superior Stability: The combination of the rigid side stabilizers and the adjustable straps makes this an incredibly effective brace. It locks the ankle down, giving her the confidence and protection she needs to train and compete safely. This high level of support is non-negotiable for a recovering athlete. • Quality Construction: The Kuangmi brand provides reliable quality; the support and compression are consistent. • Discreet Look: It is sleek, black, and looks professional. Cons (The Reason for the Missing Star): • Shoe Compatibility: The brace is extremely difficult to wear inside most closed-toe shoes. The bulk created by the lacing system and the rigid side plates means it is too wide for all of her footwear, including trainers, school shoes, and even clogs. • Tricky to Wear: The full lace-up design is fiddly and makes it time-consuming to put on correctly, which is inconvenient for a teenager. Verdict: We are keeping this brace because the safety and high rigidity are paramount for her competition. It serves as a dedicated sparring/competition brace that she must put on before her trainers/Taekwondo shoes. However, if you need a discreet brace to wear all day in street shoes, this specific lace-up design is likely too bulky.

I love it!
I suffer from Drop Foot. I have splints perfectly moulded to me but they're a 2 man job to put on and get my shoe on too but with this I'm kind of used to putting these on and find them so easy to use. I can also put my own shoe on too so that's a win! I call it my lazy splint when I know I'm not doing too much or we're in a rush. I only brought this because when I'm at home relaxing, its perfect to help me get around the house without having to wear shoes all the time. It has great support for my ankle which likes to roll over when it chooses. I would definitely recommend for people with Drop Foot. It's a life changer

Good but won’t go under a shoe
The brace was very good at supporting my ankle. It was a little awkward to get on but once on it offered good support. My only issue was I couldn’t get my shoe on over it. You might be ok if your shoes are a bit loose but if you’re shoes are snug you have no chance of getting this on under your shoe as it’s quite bulky.

Great support
Bought this for my husband as he lacks some ligaments in his ankle and has arthritis so needed some extra support, this has worked amazing for him he can actually get around without constantly needing his walking stick. Great support and yes is tricky to get on and off but you get the hang of it pretty quickly.

Does the job well
I’ve got glass ankles, I use this whilst playing netball. It does the job well and stops ankles rolling. When strapped correctly, it feels very secure and stable, but still has plenty of give to allow me to run and change direction freely without any difficulty. Great product and I will invest again in future when it wears out, it gives me peace of mind when on court playing.

Great idea, but not senior friendly (or atleast for my dads ankles)
Bought this for my dad hoping it would give him extra support and comfort. Unfortunately, it turned into more of a challenge than a solution. Fit: Way too small. Even before we tried properly, it was obvious this wasn’t designed for proper, adult-sized dad ankles. Material: Felt decent and well made, soft, sturdy, and not scratchy. No complaints there. Support: From what we could tell, it would have offered good stability if it actually fit. *Lace-up system: This was a big issue. It’s very fiddly, and for older hands it’s just annoying and impractical. Tightening it properly felt like preparing for a boxing match. Ease of use: Not senior-friendly. Between the tight fit and the laces, it became more effort than it was worth. Overall a decent idea, decent quality, but not suitable for my dad. Too small and too fiddly. Might work for younger people with slimmer ankles and more patience.
