The Little Goat Soap Company Shampoo Bar - Goats Milk and Neem Oil, Eczema, Psoriasis, Seborrhoeic Dermatitis,100 g

I bought this as a trial of shampoo bars, I'm trying to move away from as much plastic as possible and these seemed like a great alternative to liquid shampoo. I had looked in Lush but they all looked like they were patted together by 5 year olds at craft time and the price was outrageous. This little bar looks like it's been made with a little quality control, it does smell a little funny but that didn't transfer to my hair whatsoever and it's not like it stinks out the whole house, you have to pick it up and smell it to notice and it's not exactly offensive either. I have quite thick, dry hair which I often go without washing because it just becomes a frizzy mess when I do. I also suffer from dry scalp and dandruff. I found the bar worked well, it lathered easily and was also easy to work into my (short) hair. It washed out well with none of the oily feeling others have described but my hair did feel silkier than when I use regular shampoo. I'm pretty happy with it, would definitely recommend to others with dry hair. The bar came wrapped in paper which was good but then had plastic wrap on top, much less than a shampoo bottles worth but still a shame. Amazon put it in the biggest box imaginable as per usual but that isn't the shampoos fault.

I tried this shampoo bar because of an itchy scalp, with big scabs forming on the back of my head. Only used twice but the scabs, and the itch are gone. I've been using shampoo bars for a while so didn't have any difficulty switching to this one. Cleans my hair really well and my thin hair looks a bit fuller. It leathers up really well and I like the fact it's a soap type of bar rather than squashed together bits like you find with some shampoo bars. I actually like the smell. Also used this shampoo bar on my stinky spaniel - after checking ingredients, and it did a fabulous job on her fur too. Will be buying more once this one runs out.

First off this shampoo is a great advantage in the home when washing your hair, ultimately better still when away for a break or on holiday. So at home my husband and myself wash our hair 2-3 times a week, lathers well and not much is really needed. My hair is short and I am brunette which is dyed but my own colour. The goats milk and neem is ever present. I have been using now for a little while, just to see how my hair would react, if it is worth the money, convenience, and if it helps with itching. My itching is mainly to do with the hot sweats plus the hair products I use, so that’s my doing, but I do like like clean hair. As this is a natural product so has many benefits, I was really looking forward to trying it out. So easy to wash with this soap and rinse off. Doesn’t feel squeaky like my Aussie SOS shampoo, but does feel clean. One night I just washed my hair, and didn’t condition it as normally I would. I did not like my hair left like that. My hair became unruly, soft yes, but no shine, and lacked lustre. I tried this for a few times because using the shampoo bar, the hair has to get used to the change from conventional shampoos. Alas I still came to the same conclusion it wasn’t for me on its own. I used my regular conditioner afterwards and my hair was more manageable As with the same brand washing soap, which is equally nice but ever so expensive. The shampoo soap is the same, a few washes ie, two people using the shampoo bar or wash type, only lasted us two days. The soap is horrendous at going down fast. Yes I dried the soap, even putting in a draining soap dish. To me it is not cost effective. We only wash our hair every 2-3 days that’s two people, but have a shower or bath every night, I was very surprised that something like this wears down so fast. I am not sure kind of 50/50 whether to buy more of the shampoo bar, it is certainly easier when going away a few days. These goat and Neem bars are quite expensive, I do not mind paying it, however the bug bear is, this doesn’t last long sadly. It smells lovely and it does lava but it hasn’t helped my psoriasis and it does make my hair feel a bit dry but then everyone is different

I don't write a review often , but this shampooobar is so great .I bought plenty of shampoos and bars but not much.luck with it.If you have dry scalps, eachy, red and dandruff appear than you need this shampoos bar.I washed my hair felt really clean , so much improvement . Excellent hair soap. I have normal to grease hair. Lasts for ages also. And less plastic in the bathroom.

I bought this hoping to help my hair get that glow back and help the enivornment. It was an awful soap it took ages to lather up. Then it felt waxy on my hair i washed it twice. After, it still left a waxy feel to my hair even after drying it, if feels dirty and made my hair really dry total opposite to what it says it does. I won't be usng it again a total waste of mooney and it wasn't cheap either.

I've been using natural shampoo bars for several years but have struggled with this one, it's left my scalp very flaky and itchy and hair has gone very coarse and dry. Sadly not a product that suits my hair or scalp. On a positive note it does lather well and last longer than others I've used.
