I've have used it every day since purchasing (Over a month ago) and I've seen a big increase in how much water I am drinking. The little markers on the top help me track how many bottles I've drunk during the day, and I'm able to throw it into my bag and trust that it won't leak. You can clip it closed with an extra metal catch which will stop it accidentally popping open in your bag, so thats a nice bit of extra security. It's tough, too - I've dropped it a few times and there's no signs of any breakage and it's still 100% leak-proof. I went for Blue, but my boyfriends mum saw it and ordered herself a pink one, so the colour choices are good too. It is pretty big, but still easy to hold in one hand and the small handle on the top helps you carry it too - it's also not too big to sit in a bottle holder (e.g. on the side of a backpack). When I ordered it I was under the impression that there was a straw in it (looking at the picture supplied, it looks as if there's a straw sitting in it, so you'd be forgiven for thinking it did) but it's actually just an open top bottle with a flip lid. After a few days, I was completely used to this and it actually allows you to drink a decent amount of water at a time. I can't believe I've just written a substantial paragraph on a blue plastic water bottle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant *by R***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 March 2013* I bought one of these for work and was so impressed I bought one for home as well. Now my wife and kids were so impressed that I've now bought a further 3 of them.The item is great quality, and thick plastic. If keeps the water cooler than a standard plastic water bottle and leave no taste whatsoever. The neck of the bottle is wider enough to put in ice cubes in summer too.The bottles lid is great and has a large seal to stop it from leaking as long as the lid is closed, this is because there is no valve on the drinking neck of the lid which is lovely shaped and allows a nice even flow of water and is great to drink from. The lid also incorporates a gauge on the side with indications from 1 to 6 and a collar which rotates so that you can keep track of how much water you are consuming. Important if you are trying to drink your recommended 2 - 3 litres of water per day.BUT buyers, just because this is made by Thermos don't think it's a Thermos Flask with thermal properties to keep the water cold. It's not a thermally insulated bottle, but it's thick plastic does keep the water cooler longer than a normal plastic bottle.Brilliant, buy some. ;-) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Reliable and no plastic taste *by K***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 April 2020* Much better than other bottles. Don't put it in dishwasher to avoid it warping/shrinking the seal, but that's not a big problem to make it last longer. Good quality and used it to replace our very old ones. No leaks and the extra catch helps make sure it does not fall open, although it has a very good push catch.Can't comment on the durability as we have only had it 3 months, using every day.
