Gives a professional looking finish
Our house was once a guest house and the bedrooms are named after flowers (that was originally to identify rooms for the fire alarm system). The Cornflower Room is blue, with a cornflower frieze and blue curtains - but the built-in table where guests had a kettle, tea and coffee-making items, etc, was painted lime green. This looked incongruous. We lived with it for years, with the intention of painting it. I finally got round to it this year and looked for some cornflower blue paint and this seemed ideal. No preparation is needed, no sanding or anything, you just paint it on. It goes on easily and smoothly. One coat would be sufficient in many cases, but as I was covering lime green, I gave it a second coat. To protect it and make it waterproof (as we still keep a kettle on it) I waxed it as suggested. The finish is great and looks very professional. It really enhances the room and my only wish is that I had done it sooner. A little paint goes a long way, so you don't use very much. I may end up painting a chair. Can certainly recommend this paint for furniture.

Great for upcycling!
I upcycled a few pieces of furniture around my home, including IKEA kallax storage shelving. All turned out beautifully and I absolutely love the colour. I also did the woodwork and radiator in my bedroom and love it. Just remember to use a wax sealant over it. I purchased the same brand one. The paint is very easy to apply and dries super fast that you can get on with a second coat fairly quickly. I've added some photos for reference. It has a slight odour but nothing severe. However I did paint in the garden as paint can cause me migraines. I'd highly recommend this paint.

Good coverage
I used this to paint a base coat on a piece of furniture I wanted to put a decorative design on. It dried overnight. It covered very well but I did do a second coat. It took acrylic paint designs over the top very well and a coat of varnish. The colour had more purple tones than the deep blue I thought I was buying but it’s still a nice, easy to use formula. I also have loads left. The whatnot pictured has hardly made a dent in the tin.

Gorgeous colour
This is a gorgeous colour and goes on lovely. Only needed the one coat. On my kitchen cabinets I used a clear wax, then a dark wax to deepen the colour and I’m really pleased with it. I was worried the paint would come away when using the wax and buffing it, but it didn’t. The second picture is for colour comparison. The lightest colour is the chalk paint only, then middle colour is with a clear wax finish, and the far right is with a dark wax finish.

Good Coverage
I painted an old pine bookcase. Straight on with no undercoat. Only one coat. Once dry the following day I polished as per instructions to protect the paintwork. Amazing result. Very pleased and easy to use. Recommended.

OK but not easy to brush paint.
Colour is a good match to what is shown on the tin and pictures. I wasn't happy with the finish after painting, but others have told me it's perfectly OK.
